Booking a balcony on the Ruby for 16 day Hawaii cruise. Is one side better than the other for Hawaii or does it not matter both good?

I was on the Sky from Southampton May/June 2022, we had a kettle in our cabin. I did not want to use it and ask the attendant to remove and he was shocked that I didn't want it. He put it under the bed.

I booked our taxi for 11am. They asked where you are staying, ship name, your name, amount of luggage, time you want. I paid cash and rounded the amount up to an even £ amount. You can ask on the phone, if they take credit card, they probably do as most place take cards.

There is a taxi phone near the elevator at Premier Inn West Quay. After I had checked in, I pre booked at taxi for the next day as embarkment and disembarkment days are very busy for taxis

Same thing happen to me in Feb. At FLL airport, terminal 1, I was asked if we needed a taxi. I was pointed to a large black SUV. I asked driver if he was a taxi driver as I did not see a taxi sign on it. He waved a plastic card around his neck at me. I sat in the front seat. As we were driving, I did not see any meter. I asked him about the meter, his answer was it is all on an app on his phone. We were going to Hyatt Place, on 10th Ave, a popular hotel with cruisers. He did not know where it was even with goggle. We finally made it there. We were charged $35. Before, I have paid $30 for a taxi to a beach hotel. I mentioned at check in about the price of the taxi and they said it should not have been that much. I think he was not a taxi but share ride.

It is Premier Inn West Quay, most people stay. There is another Premier Inn City Center further away from the port. I have stayed at Premier Inn West Quay 5x and 1x at Holiday Inn Herbert Walker.

Yesterday on Carmen Roig’s webinar, she announced effective April (I think April 5) that FCD will only be good for 1 year. If you have FCD before that date, your FCD will still be good for 2 years.

That is what I thought better to book with WestJet
