I stayed at Mercure Winchester Wessex hotel (www.all.accor.com). The hotel is in the heart of the city. The hotel is on the grounds of the Winchester Cathedral. When I stayed there in 2018 National Express Coach dropped us off very near the hotel. They now drop you off in a car park. We used West Quays car service to take us from the hotel to Southampton day of the cruise.

I took a taxi from National Express Southampton station under £10 to Premier Inn West Quay. My sister & Brother in law decided to walk. My BIL is used to walking & biking long distance and ended up pushing the luggage and my sister huffed and puffed to the hotel. A taxi under £10 taxi to Princess dock the next day.

When I took the National Express in 2018, LHR-London Victoria- Winchester, the bus dropped us off on the Main Street in Winchester. This year, I took National Express, LHR- a passenger stop in Winchester- Southampton. The stop in Winchester was in a car park so taxi waiting to take into the town. One time, we rented a car in Southampton and stayed in Southampton. We used Southampton as a base and each day drove to a difficult place.

On a Princess cruise, we took a taxi to Book of Kells (get the earliest ticket). After Book of Kells, we walked out the grounds to get the HoHo bus. Took a taxi back to the ship. I purchased tickets in advance for Book of Kells and HoHo.

I book EzAir when my dates become available, flexible and no payment until final cruise payment. When it gets near final payment, I compare EzAir and the airline prices and taken which is the cheapest.

I will follow along. I have not been to Disney for a few years.

In May, I had the first boarding time. We left the hotel 15 minutes before boarding time and when we got there was a long line. No one looked at the boarding.

On Saturday, I saw my 2023 and 2024 cruise fares went down. I emailed a screenshot of the prices to my agent and on Monday, she was able to get the lower cruise fares for both cruises. On Tuesday, I noticed that the same 2023 cruise fare had gone down again overnight. I emailed with a screenshot to my agent again. She spend 3 hours on the phone with Princess and was able to get the lower cruise fare price. A great agent to spend 3 hours to get a lower fare and loose her commission on the higher price.

With our stop in Kinsale, there was a fish and chip takeout place near where the bus dropped us off. We took our food outside and ate facing the water.

Today I put a hold on my 2024 cruise that I have already booked. I have asked my agent to see about the price reduction on the price I saw on Princess also send screenshot of the price. In the past requests for fare reduction that I noticed on Princess site, she had said when she called Princess the price is higher than what I have. I have even send her a screenshot of the fare I saw on Princess site. She had said she or Princess can not see the screenshot price. I have logged out, put in Princess again, logged in and I get the same price. I can not understand why no one else can not see what I have seeing. I have 2023 cruise booked, I notice a price difference. I did not do hold on this one as I have used all my OBC for excursions plus have a really good EZAir price for our flights. Will have to wait to see if she can get a new price on this cruise. My 2024 cruise I have already booked has only $100 OBC from promo and $100 OBC from FCD. If she says she can’t see new price I will get her to cancel the one she is holding and transfer the FCD to the one on hold.

I use an agent. I checked my price for my booked cruise. Princess site showed a lower price than what I booked at. I emailed my agent, she came back saying the priced was higher when she called Princess to inquire.

When you get past security area, find a seat near one of the gate board. They do not post gate number until close to boarding time with no announcement over the loud speaker (even if you could understand speaker announcements). In June, we had a 5:05pm flight terminal 2. We took Princess post excursion to Stonehenge. We even had a stop at Salisbury, we got out and walked to the outside of the church. This stop was not listed under the excursion information. We were given a certain time to return to the bus at Stonehenge. There were many kiosks to checkin /luggage tags. A line for kiosks for your boarding pass and a lines for security. We had plenty of time to walk through some stores, bathroom, sitting waiting.

On our May cruise out of Southampton, we left from one terminal and returned at another terminal.

One year in Feb (I guess it was a college break), we stayed at Best Western Oceanside on Sea Breeze Blvd. The hotel was far away to not hear or see any noise and still be100 yards to the ocean. We took the Sun Trolley along the beach area. We saw and hear all the noise and crowds of students along the main beach area. We keep saying we were glad we were at the Best Western Oceanside away from the main beach area and noise. The Best Western Oceanside, is our to go to hotel when we are in FLL for a few days. The ocean is 100 yards away without any crowds, has a few picnic tables.

Which deck do they usually use to enter and exit the ship? I am planning to meet others to meet for a car service back to Rome. When meeting others for a private tour, I like to meet everyone on the ship so we all exit the ship together. Any suggestion where to meet others?

I had 2 cruises booked (Southampton-Southampton and Southampton- Southampton) on 2 separate booking numbers on the same ship. The 2 bookings were linked. The medallion showed the date as one sailing. Your medallion will show your name, ship name, cruise date and the colour of your passenger status - blue, ruby, grey, black. I booked one way when EzAir opened up for the first cruise. I booked the return flight when the second EzAir date opened up. If either air fare price changed, I was able to change without effecting the other fare. If booked as return fare, if one price had changed, you can not changed just that fare.
