Thanks for the information. Coming from Toronto, it be will LAX and will be using EzAir. I have never used Uber before. I think someone mentioned order a Uber Black so we can be picked up at the curb. I put the Uber app on my phone. I pretended to order and there were a few cars available. I did not see where to order Uber black.

I am thinking of booking a hotel near LAX airport, like you maybe the Hilton. I don’t want to get off plane, drag luggage to another place get on shuttle to pick up a hotel shuttle. Where did you pick up their Hilton shuttle - curbside or somewhere? Did you have to call the Hilton to have them sent a shuttle?

Can you pick up a taxi LAX curbside?

I will be flying into LAX and plan on staying at CP. Will the Uber cost from LAX to CP be about the same as from Long Beach Airport?

Yes, you have to log into your Princess account to get the price on August 9. If you don’t log in on August 9, the itinerary will show but not the price. I don’t know the time the prices will show. Princess offices in California open at 6PST. I just keep checking.

Is port side the even number cabins and starboard the old number cabins?

The Sapphire was built in 2004 and refurnished in 2018, maybe they are doing another refurbishment again?

Won’t know the actual itinerary until Princess releases the 2023/2024 itineraries on August 9/10. Ports - Honolulu, Maui, Pago Pago, Apia (Somoa), Suva, Dravuni Island, Tahiti (Papeete), Moorea. I had looked at Princess 28 day Hawaii, Nov 2022, March 2023 on the Crown roundtrip from LA and there was 7 sea days before reaching back to LA. If you go to post #10, in that thread you can see 2023/2024 itineraries.

It is April 5, 2024 - 32 day South Pacific & Hawaii on the Sapphire being released August 9 for Elite and August 10 for others.

Thinking on taking a 32 day Hawaii roundtrip out of LA on the Sapphire. I like to sit on the balcony during the day. I prefer my chair in the shade. Which side port or starboard of the ship to book a cabin?

In the balcony cabin, there was a pump bottle with a combo shampoo and conditioner and another pump bottle with bath gel

Is Skagway still listed on your itinerary? I have a Princess excursion for Ketchikan which they will have to change the time, if they can since it is the lumber jack show and crab feast. I have a private whale watching tour for Juneau. I have written to them asking to move to 1 hour later tour.

Anybody on Majesty, Alaska, out of Vancouver (August 27) to Whittier (Sept 3) The departure time on August 27 out of Vancouver has changed to 11:30pm. now - Ketchikan- 10:30-4:30 Juneau - 9-9:30 Princess has not changed Skagway

If Princess has these excursions offered onboard, they should also have them listed on your Personalizer to choose from before leaving.

I am on Majesty August 27. If Princess knows they are canceling Skagway, why not post the new itinerary and new excursions before we leave. Why wait until everyone is onboard and trying to book excursions.

I was informed when we embarked on the Sky that Princess had canceled our first Scandinavian port excursion. There were very few excursions to pick from once on board. We got a refund which was applied to the new excursion. They know in advance if they are going to dock or not. Let passengers know in advance so we can plan. We will be in Skagway August 31. I have been to Skagway 3x, my friends have not been.

I will be on the Majesty August 27. I have Princess an excursion paid for in Skagway. Were you notified of the change before leaving for your cruise or while on the ship? Did Princess offer new excursions?

A retired travel agent received webinar notice and posted on Facebook, that 2023-2024 itineraries for Caribbean, Panama Canal, California coast, Hawaii will be released August 10. More information on webinar July 28.
