  1. The other big change is for the Ocean Now Medallion feature where guests can order drinks and snacks to wherever they are located via Medallion tracking. This will now cost $15 per booking to utilize the service for your voyage. It is now included in Plus/Premier - as long as paid $60/$80. Also, Room Service no longer free. $5 per usage. Free for Plus/Premier.
  2. There were no changes announced for DMW app, MDR dining, reservations, dining style, etc. It was all about changes to designating free dining versus casual dining with charges. The big change is that Alfredo's/Gigi's will no longer be free, but have a la carte pricing in menu as well as a full meal flat rate. These costs will be waived for guests who are on Plus/Premier cruise packages as long as they have paid at the $60/$80 price level or upgrade to it. Other casual dining venues that had menu pricing will now be free for Plus/Premier. Plus guest get to use these locations for free 2X per voyage. Premier is unlimited. A lot of people are going to be unhappy about having to pay for elevated pizza, but it's a sign of the times.
  3. How we you prevented? Closed doors at elevator lobbies?
  4. Just confirmed in the Q&A at the Webinar. Guest A books two 7-night physical voyages as a B2B. They have to pay the $15/voyage fee TWICE to access Ocean Now service. Guest B books the 14-night logical voyage. They will only have to pay ONE $15/voyage fee for Ocean Now. So, another consideration when deciding whether to book two voyages or one for B2B travel.
  5. If that's true then why have a separate charge for RS versus using Ocean Now? I presume/expect Ocean Now won't include cabin delivery. Why would any guest order from RS if they have paid the $15 per voyage fee?
  6. You would need to order it to your room and then carry it to their room. Seems obvious to me.
  7. IDK if that tactic will "beat the system". I suspect they will distinguish these since it is a trip to a cabin, but generally not so far from a nearby bar to a place in public areas.
  8. New changes coming your way by August 2. Sapphire is first ship for the roll-out. Alfredo's/Gigi's on ships that have it is going to become a pay venue. No more free pizzas. Will have a la carte options, plus a full meal cover $15. Same for Salty Dog, etc, but that one already had a la carte. No more free RS. Each RS event will incur a $5 charge. No more free OCEAN Now delivery to your lounger - or wherever - that was one of the big selling points for Medallion Class sailing. Now, there is a $15/voyage charge to use the service in the App. If you have Plus/Premier, no charges for the above going forward. BUT you must be on the $60/$80 price-level paid, or upgrade in order to get the new cost items for free. I am sure you will tell us all about it here or in the blog. I believe you indicated you booked PLUS, but not sure when.
  9. However, a PER VOYAGE flat fee if you want to use OCEAN NOW and have service to your location. Been free since launch of Medallion. I predict this hurts the crew because guests are no longer going to tip after paying out $15 (In general - not ALL, but enough).
  10. Plus/Premier booked after Dec 14 have all the new things included. Before that one needed to upgrade. This means you need to be paying $60/pp or $80/pp in order to get the new benefits.
  11. RS is now $5 every time. The OCEAN NOW service used to be free and is now going to be $15 to cover full voyage. So that is a better deal ($15) for a long voyage than for 6/7 nighters.
  12. Frr Casual Dining, the new upcharge of $15 per full meal or pizza and other items will be a la carte. This is the one venue that used to be free and is now a revenue venue.
  13. Salty Dog items will still be available a la carte. Don't see anything missing for Standard fare. I guess you can have a combo price for a full meal - sounds like a QSR situation.
  14. Yes. A couple of posters already indicated this by seeing new items listed in the App.
  15. It's an "interesting" conundrum. Guests who booked "old" Plus/Premier will get the new features, but guests who booked the old Standard (at which time all these things were free/included) will not and will have to pay. It's the old things can change at anytime clause.
  16. IMO, the merged threads (3 of them) ought to have retained the title @LACruiser88 used because it was MUCH more comprehensive and descriptive of the situation: 7/27/23:Princess Adds Casual Dining, Exclusive Service Delivery and More to Plus and Premier Packages with No Price Increases What do you say, @Host CJSKIDS?
  17. You should be able to fix your thread title within 20 minutes. You should have made it more specific by asking earliest disembark time in Southampton.
  18. You won't get a reliable answer from calling Princess HQ. Best to go with experience of recent cruisers. Off ship is generally not later than 9:30am. You might be fine with the 6:30am. You could adjust the time after asking at Guest Services after boarding.
  19. Yes, this can happen. If you don't like what you can get in DMW in advance, try asking on board day 1 at DR (ask a Mgr).
