  1. What is your point? Surely you weren't expecting all of the website to be updated today.
  2. Where are you getting this idea? The packages are flat-rate and inclusive of applicable gratuities. Otherwise, the price goes up and they would continue to use an even number. I think you are confusing the standalone drink packages.
  3. I never used it either - except way back in the beginning when you could get your first drink for free via the App. Anyway, if I paid the $15 and got consistent terrible service, I'd be talking to GS about a refund or rebate. ETA: Perhaps with the fee, there will be less usage of the service. It all boils down to number of guests on Standard vs the packages.
  4. AFAIK, the 50% off deal came along since the $60/$80 price level and since guest don't lose anything with the discount, I would say you don't lose the new perks. The package is the package is the package, no matter if you got a discount.
  5. There has been one post suggesting that Sanctuary rates have increased to $30 and $60 and I would like to see confirmation of that. I don't imagine PCL would publish this broadly.
  6. Sorry to say but your story is another biuyer-beware situation with both PCL and a TA. You have to be explicit in instructions because the working assumption is that a client with a FCD will use that for a deposit. OTOH, one would think with a $1/£1 promo that the working assumption would change and at least be a conversation. It could have been a system default that got your wife's booking or the agent/rep hit a wrong button on the booking page. It's too bad you are discovering it late, but you could try appealing to PCL and explain the situation and that the rep booking made a mistake using your booking as example of the intended action.
  7. THIS has to be the hottest topic I have seen in a long time on Princess forum.
  8. I do not see us being charged $5 to swap out the mini-bar. But don't be giving them ideas. LOL. PS - If not already in the cabin, I quickly call RS to try and head them off at the pass and put in my swap order. Also, do it the day or so prior to next voyage in order to get it right the first time.
  9. You didn't mention if itineraries were identical. I would base it on itinerary first. Otherwise, Sapphire would be an interesting one to try out.
  10. @Mr Sea Gull, IDK if UK is different, but it has been clear that the guests with old package price receive drinks up to $15. Drink prices increased. By increasing the per drink price ceiling, guests can still get the drinks they would have got before under the old ceiling. I suspect bad information not carefully vetted before posting on website (not the first time).
  11. No, the answer is that there won't be boarding times by the time the poster sails, but the App software update to remove that and change the boarding pass screen are not implemented yet. The update was described for August 1, so it depends when they update for roll out and if an update in Play Store will coincide.
  12. Fine - and if they did that, fares would go up accordingly. So, either way we pay.
  13. Carmen and Marsha didn't phrase it the way I did, but they pointed out at least twice that there is free pizza at Slice on Lido. Once a person asked about kid's pricing and they were referred to Lido for free. Yup, I bet guests aren't going to be happy paying adult price for a kid. Kids get SD for 1/2 price, as an example.
  14. Then they must earn more on volume bonuses and such because an agency could not survive in giving customers even 10% discount off commissionable fare, let alone more than that.
  15. No it does not. Casual dining venues were not included in the Plus/Premier. The fact that Alfredo's is free today and will cost tomorrow is a separate thing. You either pay for each visit and a la carte or prix fixe - or you upgrade Plus/Premier. Note that with Plus you get two visits covered per booked voyage and Premier is unlimited. The value is $15/visit, but that is for a full meal. I don't think you can go 4X and just have pizza should pizza be no more than $7.50 a la carte. In fact, I would be pretty certain of that.
  16. I tried it again and it is clear if you click on it and use browser magnification tool:
  17. NP. That extract from somewhere was basically illegible since it was so tiny and out of focus.
  18. Cannot be the case. I don't think we know exactly how larger agencies earn their income. My discounting off the cruise fare has been more than 10% for some years now.
  19. Rolling out on all ship during August. There is a schedule. I don't have a legible copy. Have not checked if on Princess.com news releases or only in One Source (I do not have access). @Coral, can your source possibly get you the roll-out schedule for the new casual dining and service delivery fees for the fleet? I know it is happening on staggered dates throughout August.
  20. I do not believe the cabin is going to count as an Ocean Now location. Otherwise, why have the separate RS charge? Folks would just pay the one $15 fee and be done. Separate items. Not saying I agree, but this is what I get from the change.
  21. Only if you have paid less than $80/pp/day for Premier. If you upgrade to $80, then all included.
  22. They claimed in the webinar no price increase for the packages. Of course such a claim only lasts so long until the company decides on an increase. I think they want to get more people booking it before doing that.
