  1. We are also no longer brand loyal. Trying our first Oceania cruise next January and looking forward to our Regent cruise in July!
  2. We enjoyed our PHC on Voyager because the larger balcony was important to us. The vibration is noticeable but not disturbing to us. Others may be bothered. Totally agree about Navigator! One and done for us.
  3. I just ordered the sleeves and straw lids. Many thanks for the links! I too do not care to use valuable suitcase space for my own insulated bottles.
  4. Which ship? If an S or M class, you can always order off the main dining room menu. Maybe not day one - someone else may know this answer. Luminae’s food is delicious, the service top notch. Enjoy!
  5. I had no problems onboard Eclipse last month, but I brought my own GF crackers and granola. The pizza is delicious at Oceanview, but be prepared to wait about 15 minutes as it is made to order.
  6. “Our Oceania cruise is a TA from Miami to Lisbon in 2025, as we want to rent a car” We are booked on that cruise and staying on to Southampton. Hope to meet!
  7. We are sailing Regent this summer and then trying Oceania for the first time next January. We like the Retreat on the S class ships that have been revolutionized but have no more cruises booked.
  8. There is a lot to learn! Gluten hides in strange places.
  9. We just arranged for the night before our arrival so that we can check right in. Thanks to all for the suggestions!
  10. I am relatively new (6 months) to the gluten free lifestyle. Can anyone give me some pointers for eating on Regent? We just cruised on Celebrity and I had no problems at all, had the same waiter and assistant waiter who took very good care of me. Thanks!
  11. Prayers are with you during this difficult time.
  12. I suggest having it with your carry on. Every time I left the cabin, the chargers were disconnected.
  13. We only ate at Oceanview and Luminae, but everything I had was very good. The toast for breakfast is a little weak, but there are pretty good GF muffins. I brought my own GF crackers and granola.
  14. Our Butler told me there is a dedicated toaster for GF. I had no trouble with the toast or the muffins. Also, the GF pizza is delicious, and the pizza chef has a separate pizza cutter.
  15. I remember reading about your Iceland/Greenland cruise. We’re going to do our first TA, but not until spring 2025.
  16. Hi Jim, consider Regent July 5, circumnavigating Iceland. We changed to that cruise from a Holy Land cruise.
  17. Well, my expectations were low because I knew the ship’s scheduled revolutionizing had been postponed. The suite furnishings weren’t too bad, the carpet was fine too. The balcony was not in good condition, the furniture is beat, and paint chips kept dropping off the ceiling. Luminae looked good, no obvious wear and tear. The public areas are dated and some furniture is worn. Some carpeting is stained. I did not see crew constantly cleaning like I had in earlier post shutdown cruises. Maybe someone will know the dry dock schedule and chime in. I hope it happens before your September sailing!
  18. On Eclipse this December, the Aztecs was $19. I was informed by the bartender and paid the extra $2.40. I only did that once, but it was delicious.
  19. Hi @someguyfl, glad you arrived safely. I will be following along as I have cruise withdrawal. If you like massages, try Ebony. She’s terrific. DH enjoyed too. Also, Trudy gave me an excellent pedicure.
  20. We’re back home, I had to make my own breakfast, but I did have fresh berries… Overall, we had a good cruise. We needed the rest and pampering after a stressful remodel/move. This was our first repositioning cruise, and it was okay, but certainly the ports were nothing to write home about. Although I will be writing about the port of Lima! Yikes, what a cluster f. We had generally excellent service with the exception of our room steward(s). Definitely no attention to detail. I think we would have been unhappy in a sky suite without a dedicated Butler. Eclipse really needs some updating, but I think it is scheduled. I mentioned earlier that we feel the Retreat Lounge is an upgrade from Michael’s Club. I don’t think the entire club would have to revolutionized to make some needed upgrades. There is plenty of space to add the continental breakfast, snacks and beverages, The grand piano was not used as there was no live music in the club. This is the first time in many years we do not have another Celebrity cruise scheduled. We are sailing with Regent when there are a lot of ports, and trying Oceania for the first time when we just want a rest and sunshine. A very merry Christmas and a happy New Year to all! Erin
  21. Are the Elegance wines now $19? And what about the Steel Chardonnay? We were not charged an overage for those wines in Luminae on Eclipse. Also, DH asked for doubles (tequila reposado) because the regular pours were so skimpy. No upcharge in Luminae. At the World Class bar, we did get charged the extra $2.
