We do not feel safe traveling to Turkey. Luckily for us, we have not made final payment so it was an easy choice to cancel.

There are more and more age limitations for excursions. Perhaps not on Regent, but Azamara and Celebrity for sure.

I know this sounds weird, but I drink lemon in water every morning and would like to be sure I won’t have to order it from room service every day. Does anyone know if this is permitted? We are sailing from Los Angeles to Santiago. Thanks!

It would really help if Regent would extend the date for final payment.

We are booked for May/June 2024, final payment due Jan 1. I will be checking on updated itineraries.

According to affected passenger posts, Celebrity is offering FCC at anywhere from 85% to 100%.

We have one more cruise booked with Celebrity (happily not SS, but upgraded to CS) this December repo on Eclipse. That’s it. We have deposits on Oceania and Regent until May 2025. Makes me sad as we are elite+ and always have loved our cruises. I will keep looking at itineraries and pricing, but have moved on in my heart. As @Jim_Iain has said, loyalty is a two way street.

We haven’t been on E class ships, but prefer Luminae on S class. Also, space permitting, suite pax can eat at Blu.

And, many thanks to all who have posted hints and tips about being gluten free on board. Very much appreciated!

So, I took the advice to look at a current sailing on Eclipse. The Luminae menu still includes the old Daniel Boulud menu items. Most everything seems familiar. Oh, the huevos ranchero is still on the breakfast menu.

We did it in South America. Hope to never check a bag again!

We’re sailing on the new Oceania ship, Vista, 1/8/25-1/24/25. Miami-Los Angeles. We haven’t been through the canal in quite a while, and like many of you, we are branching out.

I hadn’t even thought about the amuse bouche! This is new to me, just 3 weeks. Easy at home, but eating in restaurants seems challenging so far.

So now I’m gluten free. Probably no desserts for me…

There was a change in an excursion we had purchased previously. We did not like the new timing so I called Celebrity to see if we could change it to the next day (we are overnight in port). Waited less than 1 minute, got connected to the lovely Richard who not only changed that excursion, but due to the flash sale, repriced all the other excursions we had booked. Quite a savings. Richard made my day!!
