O M G!!! I first found this review and it was at page 5… by the time I caught up it was already to page 8! So now I can officially go to my corner to commence sniveling while I read… FOMO OVERLOAD!! Seriously, I hope this cruise is everything I hoped to miss out on!

I went on a cycle boat once here in Tampa and while it was fun, it was WAY too much work while I was concentrating on my drinking!

Cookie is leaving? As in, leaving Carnival? Or leaving for Jubilee? Of all the CDs I've experienced, Cookie is my LEAST favorite! I know it's not a popular stance, lots of folks love him, but the one cruise I was on was horrible! He was subbing in for Matt Mitcham for our Vista cruise and he wasn't happy about it... and he made us all not very happy about it. He yelled at kids, ignored adults who just wanted to chat, promised things to a large group we had then promptly forgot to do anything- called the organizer of the event a liar to her face! Needless to say I was less than thrilled to hear he'd be the CD on Jubilee, my next cruise...

Can't wait! About the time you & JinxyB get off that ship I'll be heading out to catch up with Valiant Lady for the transatlantic, so this is a great and timely refresher of all things Virgin for me!

I was told the same thing- our B2B next Sept we turn platinum the second week, we were told there was no way for it to happen on the first... but hey- we'll get priority boarding on the second leg- wait, does that mean I get to get back on before all the other B2B'rs cruising with me??? 😜

The only other comment I will make in response to your staunch defense of NCL is that I've not heard a word of criticism of NCL itself, just its air program... it seems like all the negative comments have stemmed from that one and only one issue- seems like they're doing a lot more right than they are wrong, but why not fix the one hugely wrong thing?

But where in all the holy he((& of air travel does anyone think it makes sense these days to only have 40 minutes between transfers? In an international airport? from one country to another? It's not something anyone would consciously schedule on their own- there's a good reason for that! It's STUPID! NCL has a LOT to answer for selling such a mess...

Pearson used to be the best experience ever when I lived in Toronto! So the first time I went back there after I moved to FLA I was shocked at how horrible it had gotten! We waited for an hour to scan our passports, then over 2 hours to go through Customs and Immigration! NOT IMPRESSED!

I'll be thinking of him and praying for a great turnout!

That is correct- the 15 count is only for drinks that contain alcohol... so if you get an Irish Coffee from Java Blue, that counts against your 15, a cappucino from Java Blue does not count... unlimited.

I'm not sure if it's changed but when I last used it in Dec 2021 it was only good for purchases at Java Blue.
