This was the wording of the 7-day stability rider of the TuGo policy that I had last year. I added the 7-day stability rider to an annual TuGo policy.

At Westminster Abbey, new (I believe) since 2017, The Queen's Diamond Jubilee Galleries, for which there is an additional £5 charge. I was there in 2019 and found it fascinating. I just checked my documentation. The limit was the same as the base policy; $10,000,000. Here is the actual policy provision (sorry for the messy layout - I didn't want to play with it): Unstable Pre-existing Medical Condition Coverage This Optional Coverage can be purchased as an endorsement to an Emergency Medical Insurance Worldwide or Worldwide Excluding USA plan. Benefits Maximum limit − Up to the Policy limit This coverage does not increase the maximum limits of the Emergency Medical Insurance plan stated in the Policy. When this Optional Coverage is purchased, we will pay for the reasonable and customary charges for medical and related expenses up to the coverage limit for an acute, sudden and unexpected emergency medical condition incurred as a result of your pre-existing medical conditions that were not stable and existed on or before the date of departure. The charges must result from an emergency that first occurs after coverage commences (including after any applicable waiting period) and while you are travelling outside your province/territory of residence. Coverage is subject to the terms and conditions specified in the section entitled Emergency Medical Insurance, except for the wording under the sub-heading Pre-existing Medical Condition Stability Exclusion and is also subject to the exclusion described below. Exclusion In addition to the Emergency Medical Insurance exclusions and to the General Exclusions shown on page 47, we will not be liable to provide coverage or services, or to pay claims for expenses incurred directly or indirectly as a result of: Any medical condition which is not stable on or within the 7 days before the date of departure.

I was just on vy.no before my last post and I put in a date and was told it was more than 60 days before departure.

You really need to look at the information on the Northern Europe forum. Not all seats are offered to Noway’s Best which is the only one currently selling tickets. Tickets on vy.no only go on sale 60 days before departure.

Norway is discussed in the Northern Europe & Baltic Sea Forum. There is lots of information about buying tickets on the Flåm Railway. Just note that it is a train, not a road trip, and, if you wish to get back to your ship, you also need to book a ticket from Myrdal to Flåm unless you plan to cycle or zipline/cycle back down.

I thought the letters shown on the diagram match those on the platform.

They don’t show the fee as a separate item on a bill. It is built into the exchange rate they give you. If you have ever had to correct a charge immediately, you can tell. If there is no fee, there is almost no difference between the charges. If there is a fee of 2.5% say, the reversal will be about 5% less than the original charge. I can’t believe that AMEX goes through a conversion to US$ and then to CAD$. I have never had that with Visa ans Mastercard.

To be honest, even if there are formal nights she doesn’t need evening dresses from everything I have read here.

Yes, but it might be the difference between a backpack and a rolling carry-on suitcase. (Personally, I would never travel with anything but a single rolling suitcase and a backpack, but that is me.)

Exactly. I can't gate check my carry on, because I have medication that I need to take regularly. I have occasionally pulled it out to put in my purse or maybe a knapsack, but I would NEVER gate check luggage with my medication in it.

If you don't have room for 4 pieces of luggage under the bed put the carryons into the larger suitcases.

I’m sorry I turned my Oyster Card in when I could still get my £5 back. I would prefer to keep it separate from my credit card. However, that was in 2019 and I’m not sure when I will be back in London so it was probably for the best.

You have to get up early because you have to be out of your cabine fairly early (usually 8 am).

It sounds like we are on the same cruise. I agree with you about the Viking Village, but the excursion should get me back in time to do the 2:55 Flåm Railway which I have already booked. (I was worried about that one because of the timing, but Silversea has a Flåm Railway excursion that is on this trip, so I think that I will be OK.)

I would choose the cruise. In fact, my morning included excursion (which was to include both the cruise and Stegastein Viewpoint) has been cancelled, and replaced with the cruise and a visit to the Viking Village at Gudvagen but not the viewpoint. And it is now an extra cost excursion, but I’m sticking with it.

Not experience, but it is definitely not the way it should be. However, I don't believe that waiting until the after cruise survey to say anything was the right way to go about it. As I said in the previous post, I would have arranged to talk to the chef.

I really think you had a weird chef. After no more than 2 days in your situation I would have asked to speak to the chef.

On My Silversea when you select shore excursions you can print off My Activities from the top menu. This doesn’t give details of the tours, but lists what you have selected. You can also print off (lots of pages) the entire tour programme from the same menu. I have saved multiple copies ( at different dates) of My Activities. You can also screenshot each chosen activity from the timeline. If you click on the i in a circle for any excursion you can get more details. You can copy and paste that into another document.

Not everyone has one. Have you tried clicking on Expand signature at the bottom of the post to see whether there is something hidden?
