  1. If you look at the top right of the information that @thia9233posted, it shows Qty of Vehicles: 1 Day $790.00.
  2. I see the same thing (and the same number) when using my iPhone. It doesn't show on my desktop.
  3. If you have 3-4 weeks before you travel, you can always opt to mail in the application. The process seems very efficient, as long as you are careful about filling everything out correctly and making sure that you send in all required documentation.
  4. I sailed Uniworld twice. I never brought a dress of any kind as I hardly ever weat them. I brought a pair of nicer black pants and I have a light silk jacket that I wear over a black t-shirt when I want to dress up. On other evenings I wore my usual tops which are basically patterned t-shirts.
  5. I would prefer one with some RFID protection, but I have used a neck wallet for many years.
  6. I have never heard of a hotel room anywhere that had 3 beds. I have seen 2 beds plus bring in a rollaway cot but never 3 beds. (I don't know about Denmark, but finding rooms with 2 beds in France and Germany wasn't easy; I spent a number of nights on my last trip sharing a bed with my sister.)
  7. The issue is that you can't get home directly from Budapest; that flight is a "domestic" Schengen zone flight to another airport to catch a trans-Atlantic flight. You need to leave early in order to give you enough connection time to go through passport control in the second airport. Lots of people are likely departing at that hour, if they are heading home on disembarkation day.
  8. You can’t renew it until one year before expiry; for you that will be April 2024.
  9. Globus is the parent company. Avalon is their river cruise line. Globus has been around for more than 90 years.
  10. Nissan Qashqai is what in the US is called the Rogue Sport, I believe. It is the smaller version of the Nissan Rogue.
  11. 11:30?? Arrive at 10. Go through passport control, collect luggage (if checked) and get to the Anne Frank House for 11:30? What about their luggage?
  12. I don't know how many other Canadians remember Consumer's Distributing, but this should have been their motto!
  13. However, the other post was a same day transfer; this one has 5 days to plan.
  14. I'm a bit surprised. My old passport and my new passport both arrived on the same day, although in 2 different envelopes. All passports are cancelled as soon as a renewal is received. In the past, when I took it in for the renewal, they have cut off a corner of the passport; this one, which I mailed in, they punched 2 holes in the cover and pages 1-4.
  15. My favourite currency exchange company is https://www.calforex.com/en/. The Toronto one is in the Eaton Centre.
  16. My issue is really only the one day that I have chosen 2 excursions, which are now showing at the same time. (However, they haven't made me cancel one, so hopefully the times will work out later and I will be able to do both excursions.)
  17. I don’t think it is specifically the main deck reception, rather it is whether the main decks line up fairly well. Some lines have a main deck that is higher than others so it isn’t safe to put a ramp in that area. With sundecks, the ramp can extend over a longer distance to keep it from becoming too steep. Viking ships, being identical, obviously line up.
  18. Sorry, wrong terminology. No, it is the usual. Exchange rate from Mastercard; they don’t tack on the 2 1/2% or more TRANSACTION fee.
  19. There is a new option on the market. EQ Bank (an online only bank) has introduced the EQ Bank Card. It is sort of a combination of a prepaid Mastercard and a debit card. I think this is about to become my preferred travel option. The card is linked to an EQ savings account which currently pays 2.5% interest with no fees. The balance that you hold on the card (the prepaid amount) earns the same 2.5% interest. If used for purchases, there are no foreign exchange fees; it uses the Mastercard rate directly. In addition, you will get 0.5% back on all purchases, whether in Canada or elsewhere. The card can also be used as a cash card at an ATM; in Canada they refund all fees to use the card. (EQ has no machines of its own; this was the only drawback of the account previously. I tested this last week; I took out some money on Friday, and the fees were refunded on Sunday.) You can transfer money instantly from the EQ savings account to the card if you need more than your current balance. https://www.eqbank.ca/personal-banking/payments/card?icid=card-hpbanner-learnmore
  20. When I first booked this cruise, the included excursions all seemed to show up with options of 10 am or 2 pm. I realize that they were place holders, but I thought that they would stay more or less like that. I just checked my information on MySilversea, and I find that virtually all the excursions are at the same time, usually quite early in the morning. There was one day, in Bergen, where I chose to take an included excursion in the morning, and wanted to do a seaplane excursion in the afternoon. Now, they are both at the same time. (The flightseeing, because it is fairly short, had 2 different afternoon times if I remember correctly and I chose the later one.) My timetable shows them both, both beginning at 8 am. Does anyone have any suggestions about what might happen? I realize it is still over a year away. Will they adjust the excursion times again?
  21. Not totally true. Scaffolding would affect the amount of light in the room during the day.
  22. Click on the bottom button on the left for the CRUISE SHIP SCHEDULE. I'm seeing dates all the way to September.
