I have posted several times on this forum that Equinox Retreat sun deck is not accessible. I have no idea what they were thinking when they did this. The only entrance is accessed by steep steps. Personally, I think anyone not able bodied enough to do this should be compensated part of the price of a suite on Equinox.
What are the current rates for cabin gratuities, please? Or where do I find this on X website? We've had these included for recent cruises, but will not in the future.
PInnacles now match with Zenith, which was not true previously. We were Pinnacle when we first cruised Celebrity, but were only matched with Elite. We earned Elite Plus on our own. Now very happy to see we are Zenith. Saves a lot of $$ not having to upgrade either drinks pkg. or wi-fi.
How do the complimentary drinks and wi-fi work with Zeniths? Wi-fi is automatically added to your onboard account and shows upon boarding? And I assume for drinks you just have to show your card?
I wonder how many P's who want some smaller ships will decide to try the Celebrity E class? These are the biggest and newest ships that Celebrity has, but considerably smaller than Oasis and Icon classes. I'm just off Beyond and I can see that appealing to P's. The production shows have a real wow factor, so that helps in the entertainment department.
Wow! What an upgrade! I called CC and was assured that status would automatically be upgraded in the next 7 days. I shall see if that happens. If not, another call to CC. So after status is upgraded I can then cancel the 3 different upgrades to premium drink package I made last week. That is quite a gift.
Am I understanding this correctly? If Pinnacle on RCI we now can access the Retreat Lounge on space available basis? And we should automatically be enrolled in this new program?
S class ships have a card room on deck 7. I have seen several different board games available. Sometimes board games are made available in the Sky Lounge during the day. Perhaps try one of the newer S class, Reflection or Silhoutte. These have a couple of outdoor specialty restaurants that the others do not. Reflection also has a larger Sunset bar than the older S class. Don't know about Silhoutte's Sunset bar tho'.
Since this is your first Celebrity cruise, perhaps you should be more familiar with the ship/Celebrity before deciding to make an upgrade bid. You are probably not familiar with what each cabin category actually provides.
I have read many times this is served "family style". Does that mean everyone who signed up is at tables together, or as sounds like what MaryLou describes above. each couple or group has their own private table?
Thanks for all info. We will be on EC in Oct. for the first time. Been cruising X since Dec. 2016 and have been on several different ships, but not Eclipse.
Yes on Beyond 2 weeks ago. We returned on May 12 from b2b on Beyond. I know the last cruise offered bingo and I'm pretty sure it was also offered the first cruise.
Falmouth is NOT a tender port. It is a "fake" port built by RCI several years ago. Been there many times. Not unpleasant, but unless on a tour, it is not recommended to leave the gates of the port for local area.
