Good Morning from a very busy and chaotic day at the airport

    Sitting at the gate, waiting to board. It is insanely busy here. Glad I had TSA precheck. Glad I wasn’t traveling yesterday, many trips cancelled due to the crazy weather. Trying out my Apple AirTags for the first time. So far, so good.

    I am off to Boston tomorrow for my nieces bridal shower on Saturday. I will also get to meet the new babies, Maeve Grace and Ryan Charles. So I have a suitcase full of gifts. Then Sunday we are going to Cape Cod until Tuesday when I fly home. My sister just bought a new home and she wants me to see it. It will be a fun but busy few days.

     I appreciate my 2 sisters and have very fond memories of my 2 brothers that have passed. The Salvation Army is a wonderful organization and well worth supporting. DH relatives live on a farm  and have many animals. Always fun but a lot of work!

     @StLouisCruisers  Thank you for the great pictures of Petra. We were scheduled to go there on the 2025 WC but the itinerary was changed due to the Red Sea conflicts. Hopefully some day!

      They are building 2 more hotels in Port Canaveral. That will be 11 in a 2 block area. Unreal!  

      Water aerobics this AM. Not much else today.

      Heading to Orlando thuis AM for a much needed cut and color. Then a few errands while I am there. Shopping is very limited in my area.

     Saw on the news yesterday that Princess has partnered with Brightline to transport passengers. They will then transfer luggage directly to ship. Sounds like a good plan. Wish HAL would do the same. Although by the time we drive to Orlando, we could be halfway to Ft Lauderdale.

        Very exciting for all of you that witnessed the eclipse. We saw nothing. The sky remained the same and it remained daylight.  There were a bunch of people on the beach with the special glasses but Nada. I am sure they were disappointed. Oh well, we will see it in 2045! LOL

     We were in Darwin on the Noordam in 2022. I thought it was a great port. A little warm. We walked into downtown on the new covered walkway. Very accessible and a pretty walk. 

Thank you Sandi for the great pictures. DS and DH got much needed haircuts there. 

    We arent going to see much of the eclipse today. Most of the good viewing will be in the North. We have to wait until 2045!

      Off to water aerobics.

      Interesting collection of days. Drowsy drivers are so dangerous for all of us. Not a fan of twinkies.

     Welcome home to @durangoscots @Cruising-along @cruising sister @Cruisercl. It is hard to believe that voyage is over. I really enjoyed following along on @richwmn blog. Very exciting cruise.

    @Heartgrove   MSC has become very popular around here. Many of my neighbors have gone on that ship. My nephew and GF have gone 3 times! You are best to park offsite.  Either Park n Cruise or Park Port Canaveral are reputable popular parking options, close to the Port. Park Port Canaveral is closer. Port Canaveral is a very busy port so I would avoid trying to park onsite. I will wave as you float by me! Any questions, just ask me.

       DH and DS are volunteering today  at the Shredding event sponsored by the Police Department and the library. They will be very busy. DS will mostly be directing as he still cant lift.

     Yesterdays preedicted storm was just some rain. So all is well.

     I have been to Galway a few times on land trips. It is a beautiful area. My relatives came from the Aran Islands which is off the coast of Galway.

    Happy to hear that @Quartzsite Cruiser arrived home safely.

   @USN59-79 and @Horizon chaser daughter are safe in Taiwan.

     @smitty34877  You are a wonderful and caring person. I will continue to pray for your whole family. Take care of each other.

  Received an email from my TA yesterday that HAL has changed the itinerary of the WC to avoid the Suez canal. I am very grateful that they made this decision early. I was very concerned and we were thinking we would cancel if it was going to go thru the canal. I am not brave ( or foolish)

I really enjoy a charcuterie board. Only been through Tokyo airport.

 Thank you for the very detailed description of the MRT.  I was last in Singapore in 2006 so many changes since then. My husband actually had an apartment in Clark Quay during his work years because he spent so much time there.  He was last there in 2014. We are looking forward to the return and was disappointed to have the itinerary changed to 1 day.

    We will make the most of it with your detailed instructions!

    Sunrise Service on the beach was packed! Could not believe the number of people. I was happy to watch and listen from my patio. The singer had a beautiful voice. Amazing

   We will also celebrate DS birthday today. Picked up his cake yesterday. We are having prime rib for dinner.  We got him new golf shoes. Unfortunately he is on the bench for golf. He has a bursitis in his elbow and they are going to drain it under ultrasound on Wednesday. Looks painful but he doesnt really say much.

  Tomorrow is my sons birthday. So we will celebrate Easter and his Birthday. As Publix is closed tomorrow, have to pick up his cake this afternoon.

     There are several sunrise services scheduled on the beach tomorrow. So it will be busy. The Delta Heavy rocket has been postponed again until Monday.

       I try to support Mom and Pop businesses.  Mermaids are fun. We are scheduled to stop a Nuuk on the VOV in July. Thanks @StLouisCruisers for the pictures. 

      Our prayer list is long. Hope that will shorten soon, but unfortunately thats also part of life. 

     That salad looks interesting. Thanks @dfish. May have to try it.

     They are starting a trivia night at the country club. We reserved a table for 8. Should be fun.

      I do like todays quote. Never been to Croatia, but would like to. Dont really care for Hot tubs. It is a great day for all the baseball fans out there.

     I am going up to Boston in a few weeks for my nieces bridal shower. She is not registered anywhere so I am giving her money. Yesterday I had a great thought. I bought 2 pasta bowls and I tied up dollar bills in different denominations  and put it in the bowls. At least it will be something to open and she will laugh. Now to get it through security!

       Today is counting money at the library. Was suppose to be tomorrow but they are closed for Good Friday ??

 I am late today and just seeing this. Port Canaveral is not a city. , it is part of Cape Canaveral. It can be very confusing, like Cocoa and Cocoa Beach are 2 different places separated by about 10 miles and 2 rivers.

  Anyway if you are driving in taking the 528. I You will see the ships before you actually get there. hey will be on the left. The signage is quite good. It is the overhead neon signs that state the ships and terminal. You are going to Terminal 8. The Disney ships are on the North Side . Exit 54.   Just follow the signs.You should not have a problem.

    If you are coming from a different direction, just let me know.
