We just rented on on the Edge it was not free flowing alcohol but came with a liter of grey goose ,6 beers,4 large Evian water and unlimited sodas/mixers.We paid $150 for 1/2 cabana . We enjoyed and thought it was a good deal since we had no package.We enjoyed and rented again one of the last sea days but exchanged vodka for a bottle of Moët champagne.

No we did not see that ! Sounds like something we would enjoy

I miss that !! even if it wasn’t the best sparkling wine it made the walk onto the ship seem a little more special!

We just got off the Edge and we were on a cruise only fare.BCC free cruise .We bought a bucket of beer on two different days. One day they charged is the weather $33 the second day $28 ? The same bucket but they charged was cheaper the second time? It is on the app at pool bar menu.My DH would drink a couple then take to the room We also brought our four bottles of wine on board. And are now elite plus so we had happy hour every day.! We tipped from the beginning and got great service and cocktails ! we also booked a Cabana on the edge and it came with comfy couches,six beers, four large waters, and a full liter of vodka that we did not even finished by the time the cruise was over.We did take it to the hotel after though. if you can upgrade your cruise at time of booking to add the package that is a good deal. If you have to do a completely separate, We decided it is not a good financial deal for us..

We found a restaurant near airport and port Lester’s diner. They said they had plenty of room if we bought luggage.We will have breakfast and head over and will sit at the terminal for awhile.

All of the day rooms I checked started at nine or 10 AM . We have an 1130 check-in we might just go to breakfast and head to the port a little early. Thanks for the ideas but knowing me I will be lucky to sleep for an hour or two!! Going to the beach doesn’t sound like any fun !

We were thinking if we were just carry on that would work but we are on a 10 day cruise so that’s not happening! :))

I was following you on your journey to get to the Solstice and was cheering you on!!And also on Solstice ! I never thought with 2 nights before we would cut it this close!! I am glad Hilton gave me all our points back even though it said no cancellation on booking yesterday.

Thank you for the input ! All the day rooms were 9-10 am to 5 . I had a great Alaska Airlines person and all early flights were booked! He spent an hour on the phone looking at different connecting flights.We had first class flights so he was trying his hardest to find the best flights. We are not excited about the red eye but we will do it. It will be along day but we do care as long as we make the ship!!

Our flight out of San Diego got canceled today we booked two nights at hotel at the Hilton Fort Lauderdale Beach resort .. we should be there right now! but we are not going get on the flight till tomorrow afternoon and will do a redeye that will show up at 6 AM the day of the cruise😳😫 My question ,is there airport lounge that let you pay to hang out for a few hours before leaving airport ? I have googled it and I’m not getting answers so I thought I would put it out to the cruise critic people to possibly help me out.! Our check-in time is not till 11:30. I just wanted somewhere we can relax and possibly freshen our tired bodies (because I don’t sleep on flights) before heading to the port!?? Thanks

I look forward to following along. We are at the San Diego airport (our weather is awful on the West Coast )heading to Florida to jump on the edge. Looking forward to some warmer weather that’s for sure.!!!

Another way to do it also is rent a cabana on the S class ships you can rent one for $100 per day. And you get a bottle of vodka included.We are renting 1/2 cabana on the Edge for $150 it is cheaper for us than the bar set up .

We have a 1/2 cabana booked on the Edge next Sun . We look forward to having a place to leave our things when we want to take a walk around. Can’t wait!! We just rented an alcove on Solstice which was on the lawn area and enjoyed that also !

I just finally caught up on your report my Internet has been having trouble(probably my own fault ) and finally went to guest relations today and she fixed it for me!! We are having a great cruise but wish it was a little bit warmer!! salud

We have rented a cabana today and are enjoying a quiet day with our two best friends!! We have been to Cabo many times so we did not feel the need to get off the ship!! We saw many whales on the sail in today!! Now that you posted pics I will say Hi if we see you !!

I am curious with you having access to the retreat deck why you would rent a Cabana ? We have rented one for our edge cruise in a couple weeks but we don’t have a beverage package so we’re doing it for the bottle of vodka and the beers and waters .But also to have a nice place to sit without having to deal with the chairhogs! Would you rent one again on another cruise? And I know they are different ships but I’m curious how many split cabanas they had I know on the edge there’s only six cabanas. ?? I am very sorry that your cruise is coming to an end. But it looks like you’ve had an amazing time 🛳🥂

Thank you so much for the review and the pictures we will be on the edge in a couple weeks. I know that you ate in Cyprus most nights. We made reservations the first two nights but now I’m reading that you can just show up. I am also gluten-free so I like the idea of having wait staff that knows your food preference. I like the idea of eating in a different restaurant each night, but don’t want to struggle with the ordering as gluten-free food.

I would be interested in the music and mixology for our 10 day Edge Carribean cruise this month. We do not have a beverage package so looking for some fun and free cocktails.Wondering when this is offered during cruise? Is this something you received in your room at beginning of the cruise from CC ?
