  1. I forgot about posting about my Salt experiences. I signed up for a class the and we had a lot of fun😀 I have eaten in Salt Kitchen once and enjoyed it and been to The Salt Bar muliple times. That always gets a thumbs up from me😀

    Salt Lab

I am on the Dawn now and you can make a reservation for the lab after you board the ship😀 I took a class in there the other day and it was a lot of fun!
  3. Another beautiful day here in the Carribean😀. I am a very big sports fan and so I am quite happy today as tonight is The National Championship game and Russ (CD) told me they are showing it in The Venetian Lounge. I was not sure about it when I boarded but it is actually in today's Chronical too😀. GO DAWGS😀 And my Jags beat the Titans on Sat night too so definitely a happy cruiser here! Sat night we host the Chargers in the playoffs!!! Oh we are in St Barts today which is a tender port. I am being quite lazy this trip. No plans today at all.......
  4. Good morning, I think so but not positive. I never actually looked except to say I know we were not at the Pan American Pier so yes, we were downtown. Today we are in St Barts. It is a tender port and once again, I don't plan to get off the ship. Tonight is The National Champtionship game and they are showing it in the main theater😀 Go Dawgs!
  5. Good morning, I may have seen 2 or 3 masks over the last couple of days but that's it. 99% of us are not wearing them.
  6. Hi girls, just checking in to say hello😀. We are in San Juan today but I have no plans to get off the ship. Weather is lovely and have met some really nice folks Hope everyone is doing well.
  7. Another beautiful day. We are in San Juan this morning. I have no plans and slept in quite late after staying up to watch my Jaguars beat the Titans😀😀😀 I had dinner with 2 really nice guys in LaTerrazza and it was very good😀.. Staff and crew have all been exceptional too. Lots of friendly faces😀
  8. Hi Les, I have not had any internet issues personally. But I have heard a few folks complaining about it. Maybe I am just lucky? As for St Barts, I have been there before (been to every one on this itinerary). I am not sure I will even get off the ship yet in any of them.
  9. Hi, I totally forgot to post about embarkation. I got to ship about 1:00 and to my surprise I was on board before 1:30. They had some guests already in the terminal when I arrived and they allowed guests in wheelchairs to board first. You still had to fill out the Health form and they took your temp and asked to see your vax card. Crew and staff no longer need to wear masks.
  10. Happy Saturday from The Arts Cafe. It is a lovely day. Last night we had a group of 7 for dinner in The Salt Kitchen. I had roast pork with a citrus and cumin blend of sauce with mashed plantains and fresh veggies. All quite good. Today I am doing the Salt Lab at 2:30. Deconstructed Tamales. Will let you know how it goes Last night was formal night and I was at bar in Dolce Vita and was people watching. I must admit, I noticed a lot of men in tuxes. Just an observation.
  11. Hi, headed? A bunch of different ports. St Thomas, San Juan, St Kitts, Antigua, Domonica, St Barts. Not sure if I am missing one or not.
  12. Hi, I had a filet in Atlantide last night and it was cooked exactly as I like and was very tender. Just had a pizza for lunch at the pizza place at the pool and it was delicious. Sausage and mushrooms and nice and cheesy. Can't promise you pictures of menus as I am not a picture person. But I can tell you how the food goes. So far so good😀
  13. Loving your post. I have been to most of those places and reading your descriptions makes me want to back😀
  14. Hi, I was told about 540. Last time I sailed her was in the summer when I had my leg fiasco.
  15. Good morning, I am sitting outside The Arts Cafe with a cup of tea and smoked salmon/cream cheese panini for breakfast today. We sailed yesterday and met 3 nice women at cocktails in Dolce Vita. We had dinner together in Atlantide along with Rebecca, who is one of the International Hostesses. Dinner was very good. The weather is beautiful as is the ship. Any questions, I will try and answer.😀
  16. Hi Melody, I can't remember the last time I took any pictures, to be honest. Just not a photo person anymore. And no S on the end......it is Silversea. Just an FYI😀
  17. Hi, it varies to be honest with you. Sometimes they can be in 7pm range and other nights they might have the shows later.....like in 9:45 range. You will have to check in your Daily Chronicle which is delivered to your cabin each night.
  18. Hi Jazz, check The Panorama Lounge. They usually have coffees, teas, etc in the mornings. There is no Arts Cafe on Whisper.
  19. Thanks Janet😀 I am sitting at the gate at the airport. We board at 9 so not too much longer
  20. The Moon is one of the newest ships, Whisper is one of the oldest and Spirit is in the middle. Moon and Spirit are much larger than Whisper. I agree with Stuumblefoot, check out the SS website and you can see all the differences at your leisure.
  21. Hi Cynthia, thanks so much. When I first started cruising over 20 years ago I would drive down. As time has gone by and I have gotten older I no longer enjoy that 5 hour trip on 95😮............a flight is less than 1 hour😃
