Terry, thank you for sharing that obit with us. I only knew him from Cruise Critic. It sounds like he was a really well rounded person. I never knew he was a teacher....and for 30 years!!!!

Hi PH, good to see you again😃 Well, I tried one of TJ's Artichoke tarts and I had their quiche.......both were delicious😃 I would try another quiche for sure. It is a small size, perfect for 1. I had the flatbread last night and it was ok but the other 2 items were better.

Hi George, I haven't sailed with Celebrity in about 6 years. Things must have changed. I just read a review on the Celebrity board that said there were somewhere between 500 and 700 kids on board😮 I sailed with them for about 14 years from 2003 till about 2017. Maybe that review was over a holiday sailing and had LOTS of families on board.

Good morning girls, I found out some sad news earlier today. Do any of you know the cruiser with the screen name rkacruiser? Very helpful person on various boards. I came across a thread from another poster who knew him and rka passed away recently☹️......sending my heartfelt condolences to his family. If ya'll could do the same I am sure they would appreciate it. This morning I started to take out clothing for my cruise (I fly to FLL on Wednesday morning). This is just a normal 11 night sailing so I am not sure why I am having a problem figuring out what to bring this time😮.........I have only been to the Caribbean about 2 dozen times LOL.........

Hi friends, I wasn't sure if I should start a new thread on this news or not but I just found out that rkacruiser recently passed away. I know he posted on this forum and just wanted to send out my heartfelt wishes to his family. If ya'll could do the same, I am sure they would appreciate it. RIP..........

omg......I am so sorry about this........yes, VERY sad news☹️...........do you happen to know if he was ill? He also posted on the Silversea forum......which Is where I interacted with him quite often. WOW.....

Fresh juice? OMG....it so much healthier as well. Ever look at how many grams of sugar are in bottled/cartons? I would never bring a juicer on board but then again I don't bring anything like that....... I rarely drink juice in the morning on the ship........I will just do fresh fruit.

I am a minimalist.........I don't ever bring that kind of stuff with me and never will. I don't know and I guess I have never looked what other's took but did not get to use. To be honest, what other's bring is of no significance to me.

I always stay on Las Olas. I will be there next week. Staying at The Riverside. There are many, many restaurants and shops along the Blvd. It is my favorite area before I cruise😀

I didn't know Ft. Lauderdale airport had any lockers. Is that a new thing? Or I am just out of the loop?

Hi there.....well, I decided to go to Trader Joe's earlier today and got 6 items. I know a few of you who love their stuff🙂 I will let you about my choices afterwards.......I got some of their spinach sour cream dip, along with some pita crackers. I got a frozen quiche with mushrooms and spinach I got a frozen french style flatbread with mushrooms and cheese And 4 artichoke tarts (frozen). 2 different ladies nearby told me that the flatbreads are delicious and they buy them all the time. I leave here on Wednesday for my cruise and didn't want to get too much "fresh stuff" and not eat it all before I leave and their frozen products all look so good. Oh I forgot, I was looking at the cheese section and they had one of my most favorite......it is called Port Salute (for anyone interested).......it is a VERY creamy, mild, french cheese that is DELICIOUS!!!!........ I will wish everyone a happy new year tomorrow night and Sunday🙂
