I did not. I was making a general statement......we are all different people and what you may think is beautiful I may not. We can all appreciate different things.

I guess that is thing about art. We can all see things differently. What is beautiful to some of us is not that way to others.

Hi Janet, where is South Florida do you live? I have never heard of this club so I don't know if the city has one or not........I could probably call the Chamber of Commerce and see what they know. I do know many Sr Citizens (omg that is me) do volunteer work. I will have to make a large effort when I get back from my cruise.

I just received a book that is titled "Ecuador/Galapagos Islands in the mail. I can only say it is many pictures but no narratives. It is a hardcover. It is pretty thick and I guess it would be more interesting if I wanted to visit those places. Just wondering if anyone else got this book in the mail? The photographer is Steve McCurry and there is also a note card from Barbara Muckermann.

I agree. You will be eligible for the free laundry at the start of the cruise. I got to 100 days on my last cruise. I hit the mark in the middle of the cruise but got laundry earlier in the sailing. Congrats🙂

I have never sailed with Tauck but I have gone on Uniworld and would highly recommend them. All inclusive and I loved them.

Hi Cynthia, are you still here with your family? Hope you had a good visit. Yes, I am on Silversea......the ship is called "The Dawn". I missed that entire part of Sharon's post...........I don't think I have ever even tried for those resolutions. I know there is definitely something I need to do in 2023 though and that is to figure out what I will be doing for the next phase of my life. I know that may sound a bit melodramatic but honestly, when I retired in Dec 2019? Well 2020 and 21 are sort of a full blur for me.....this year is now gone and I really have not done anything except have major surgery and cruise. ( I don't have a very constructive life at the moment). I need to start getting out of the house a bit........I keep saying a couple of hours each day, maybe volunteering or something like that........I just need to figure out what😮

Good morning.......Melody, hope all the medical stuff goes well for you... I fly to Ft. Lauderdale a week from today and sail a week from tomorrow. My itinerary? San Juan St Barts St Kitts Dominica Antigua St Thomas There are 4 sea days spread out too.........it is an 11 night cruise.

Hi, it should not be an issue. As for "events"....the one event that is always offered is cocktails together and then sometimes folks go to dinner together. I don't know of any other "solo events". But if you want to meet solo guests, I believe you would be more than welcome.

Hi Melody, WOW........from what I have been seeing on the news, he certainly was fortunate! SW looks bad in ALL the airports!!!!!!!!!!! I saw a story this morning and the woman was nearly crying telling her story. Looks like people are just renting cars and going to wherever they need to go (without their luggage)........

And I am at single digits today too😀

Good morning, Melody, you have a beautiful family🙂........seriously, everyone looks so happy. Thanks for sharing the photos with us. I have 2 sisters......both live out of the country......everyone's lives are so different.

I would not even attempt it..........why put so much stress on that event? I guess some folks don't worry about a risk but after being on a cruise for however many days, I have no desire to rush, rush, rush and omg, get to the airport and make sure everything goes well timing wise and etc....etc....etc........no thanks. Would much rather just be last off the ship without a care about making such an early flight. Oh yea, what if something happens and the ship actually does not arrive on time and you are already late starting that morning.........just go with the afternoon flight.
