Hi CGT and rka😀 I haven't posted on here in a while. I LOVE bagels, lox and cream cheese. Sadly, there is no place where I live that makes anything even close to a NY bagel. And since I have type 2 diabetes they are so full of carbs I rarely eat them anymore. BUT a really good bagel is something to behold😀

I don't remember honestly. I know it was waaay back in 1985 and I had gotten divorced. I decided to take a cruise but really don't recall if it was a week or a long weekend. Probably the latter. Now, When I really started cruising on a regular basis, multiple times a year? That was in 2003 and it was 7 nights on Celebrity's CENTURY and she got me hooked😀

Good morning, looks like the weather on my upcoming cruise is going to start out "yukky"......I keep checking the weather and it shows 50s and rain in Quebec City. I fly out on 10/21 and sail 10/22. Looks like I am going to be packing the same way as I did for Alaska........long sleeves for sure......... And I will bring that rain jacket I have in the closet too. Hopefully as the cruise goes by the weather will improve!

Hi, I have been sailing solo for 20 years now and I think if you find an itinerary and price you are good with, book it. I usually book in advance and it always gives me something to look forward to😀

I agree, 1:45 is really not a late flight.........late would be 5, 6, 7, etc.......... I would request being in the very last group off the ship and then just go to the airport..

We are opposite.......I guess I should have stated I always bring a "black cardigan" for evenings(it would be an essential for me)....I always seem to feel chilly on board and black goes with all my evening attire.

I don' t even carry my SS card with me here at home......stays put away. So I would never take it on a cruise. Marriage License? Why would anyone need to bring that with them? If you have a passport, you don't need to bring your birth certificate. I bring my passport, driver's license, AAA card and credit cards......I normally always bring 2 with me. Oh, yea, I forgot........I bring that VAXX card with me too!

Hi, Port Canaveral is pretty industrial......I don't know of any sights within walking distance. I don't know where the museum you are referring to is located but I can almost guarantee you would need a car...an uber for example. Other things to consider? Cocoa Beach.......not within walking distance but you could use Uber for that too.

Try the Fairfield Inn on Griffin Road..........looks like they have availability for Nov 11th......advanced payment around 250.00. And they offer a complimentary shuttle from the airport to the hotel. But I do agree, you are leaving in a month......not much notice really. Many folks book their hotels many months ahead of time.

These are the grey pants.......the tag says "charcoal"

Found a photo on line........they are prettier in person......it says ankle jeans but they are not jeans (in my opinion)......they can definitely be dressed up.
