@Ken the cruiserThank you for posting the Gluten Free dessert options! A few months ago, I was also placed on a GF diet. My first cruise as GF is coming up on Summit next month, so I really appreciate anything you can post about DW's Gluten Free experience. In all my 20+ years of cruising I never really paid attention to the GF options. Is it easy for her to find GF breads? That's a major concern for me.

Silhouette deck 6 balcony question on obstructions
ecslady replied to DJLDRUMS's topic in Celebrity Cruises
I've stayed in 6240, also on the angle. Those 4 cabins have large balconies which is great. The view of the lifeboats below never bothered me. -
I've cruised solo several times. On Oasis, I was seated at a two top, but they are so close together you can have a conversation with the tables next to you. I've also been seated at tables with couples or other solos. Just go to the MDR when you board, and ask bout where you are seated for dinner and table size and table mates. If it's not to your liking, ask to change.

April 8th Solstice - Spring Break Cruise Live
ecslady replied to KasioSails's topic in Celebrity Cruises
Following along. Really interested in how your 7 year old likes the ship and it's activities as I'm thinking of taking my daughter, SIL and two grandsons (6 & ๐ on a Celebrity cruise. -
Got the gift box also - 10 PUP points for 1 CC pt. I'd love to hear if anyone out there received a different amount.

@goofysmom99 Thank you for all this information. I see that you are sailing on the Summit in February 2023. Can you please report back on what your selections will be for these cruises. I am new to being gluten free and my first cruise as gluten free will be on the Summit in May 2023, so I am really interested in what you chose of the MDR menus, in the OV etc. After cruising for 20+ years, this will be a change for me, and I have to admit, I'm stressing a bit about how I'm going to handle this.

Beyond creaking and knocking and slamming oh my!
ecslady replied to RobertoF's topic in Celebrity Cruises
I was wondering the same thing. I've been on the first Edge out of the US and didn't experience these issues. Also, was on the Apex, and no noise. 67 feet could just be too much, but I'm not an engineer. The Reflection is not an Edge class ship so I do not think you can compare since it is a different design. -

Restrictions on ordering with new menus
ecslady replied to hac82's topic in Royal Caribbean International
If you have medical dietary restrictions, how do you let staff know pre-cruise of your needs? I was just placed on a gluten-free diet, and between the new menus and now having to be gluten-free, how does one handle this? My next RC cruise won't be till July on Oasis with family, so I hope things improve by then. Has anyone that has to be gluten-free cruised with the new menus yet? -
Jazz on 4 clubs on Oasis class being eliminated.
ecslady replied to ddled's topic in Royal Caribbean International
Not happy about this either, as I love live music. But, if they are doing this, they should make the Jazz on 4 the smoking casino and make the main casino smoke free. I can't even stand walking through the casino at times because of all the drifting smoke. Just my 2 cents, not that it means anything to RC.- 83 replies
