  1. Leaving also on 9/14 on Jewel out of Cape Liberty heading to CA & Greenland. More than likely we will find out something at the same time as you since we are both headed north.
  2. @Jimbo You just made me laugh! Yes, I'm on the Jewel Greenland cruise on the 14th, and just looked at the wave heights forecast on windy.com - not good, north or south, as of now. Going east - that would be different!
  3. I got inpatient too and walked down the donkey trail. It is definitely memorable and actually something to talk about with friends. Part of the authentic experience! Everyone should do it once.
  4. Same here! I would love a Celebrity ship out of Cape Liberty year round with the Caribbean itineraries. I remember doing the Silhouette cruises out of NJ and also Galaxy out of Baltimore too.
  5. Looking forward to your live thread one again and comparison. Interesting different itinerary. Have a great cruise.
  6. Have a great cruise. Love those oceanview cabins where the conference rooms used to be.
  7. @Host JazzbeauThanks for those instructions. I was able to find my Azamara points and it looks like they are mostly correct as of February 2023. I can see that one of the Feb 2023 Power Up Points was included, but the other 5 Power Up Points for the "Explore Europe webinar" from Feb 2023 was not added in. Does this have to do with the actual date the PUP points were added and when the split occured, or is it really a mis-calcuation/error by Azamara?
  8. I also did not submit a question, and received the same second email. So I agree with you, same distribution list.
  9. My Time Dining usually starts at 6:45 pm. They like to get early seating out first.
  10. The way X built the tiers, it's almost like they want to keep everyone at Elite Plus. If only they put a tier in-between Elite Plus and Zenith. But we all know that is not going to happen.
  11. You are not alone. I've been Elite Plus forever it seems. Never going to get to Zenith either. But getting the PUPs points have been fun anyway.
  12. Was at Cococay on the Oasis July 21-28 cruise. I heard people saying there were jellyfish at Chill Beach. We stayed at Harbor Beach and the pools and were fine.
  13. Thanks for your report on Gluten Free. This is good to know.
  14. Thanks for this comparison. I haven't cruised on Princess in years, but have started to research which cruise line to do Alaska with again, and this comparison helps.
  15. That's a lot more than on the July 21 cruise - Total repeat cruisers was only 2,162.
  16. Have a great cruise! The bartenders in Schooner were great a week ago. Enjoyed the piano guy, too. It was my go to place as it was pretty quiet and you could actually get a seat. We were at capacity - so many kids (including my grandkids) as it was a family cruise too.
  17. PS - A new Cats cast is starting this week on Oasis, if you are a Cats fan. I'm not.
  18. I also got off Oasis yesterday (Friday July 28), and did self assist. The ship was delayed docking due to marine traffic. I believe we were waiting for a container ship or barge before we were given the OK to dock. Thus, instead of docking at 6 AM as scheduled, we docked at 7 AM. I waited until 7:40 AM to leave my cabin for self assist and they snaked us through lines. I was finally outside the terminal at 8:26 AM calling a friend who was waiting at the port to pick me up. It was a mess. Those with luggage tags were delayed an hour or so also. I've encountered this before at Cape Liberty. However, I also have had it go very smoothly and on time debarkation. It all depends. This past May on Celebrity it went fine, as did last December on Anthem.
  19. Just off Oasis today - and that is correct. We had the Cats performers sing and some of the other ship's bands played in there. I REALLY miss the Cover Bands.
  20. Thanks for a great live thread and safe travels home!
  21. Love those aft cabins on the M-class. I was on deck 7 for my Summit cruise in May. Enjoy! Be careful I got a wicked sunburn sitting on my deck while we were docked in Bermuda - I didn't think the sun was that hot in May!
  22. So glad you are home and recovering. Also glad to see that your humor is back!
