I am looking forward to your gluten free reports, as I am gluten free also. I have not eaten any specialty restaurants since having to go GF.. Also wondering how Anthem does GF, as each ship seems to do it differently from the cruises I've been on since going GF. So thanks in advance and enjoy your cruise!

Try to enjoy your cruise. Just had to put down one of my English Cocker Spaniels. She was 14.5 years old and lived with my daughter but had been coming over each day since September so she wouldn't be home alone all day. She had a tumor that finally was pressing on her back leg giving issues with walking also. And finally, being very picking about eating. It's never easy.

Reflection LIVE 2/3/24-2/11/24: 8 Crazy Nights of ABC Islands

I was also amazed that 9215 was available. Someone must have cancelled and it opened up, or opened up due to a move up. In any case, from personal experience, the winde are definitely more of an issue on the forward hump cabins as to the aft hump cabins. I've stayed in both and do prefer the aft hump cabins. But in any case, I love the larger balconies. Enjoy your cruise Charla! -

Had no problem with my grandkids, ages 5 & 7, ordering off MDR menu on Oasis last summer. -

First time as a celiac - Oasis
ecslady replied to sarahsentry's topic in Royal Caribbean International
I've only sailed a few times as I was diagnosed with Celiac a little over a year ago. I bring my own bread as I'm picky about my bread and I have found the GF bread on Oasis, plus other RC ships not to my liking. I also bring some of my favorite snacks, so they can be readily available. Eating in the MDR is easier than the Windjammer. -
Got mine too! I don't know why I'm so excited. I've been Elite Plus forever, and I doubt I'll ever get to Zenith in my lifetime. Really wish they would put that tier in between Elite + and Zenith.

Considering first cruise- questions for family of 5
ecslady replied to My3Daughters's topic in Royal Caribbean International
I agree with others, definitely 2 connecting cabins. The two bathrooms when getting a quick shower before dinner or getting ready in the morning will keep everyone sane. Pus, you will have more room for all your clothing and things, and room to move around in the cabin. If you get two balcony cabins, you can ask the room steward to open the dividers on the balcony so you end up with one larger balcony. But, whatever category of cabin you choose, inside, outside or balcony - I would definitely recommend 2 connecting cabins. -
Mine just appeared in history also this morning (Wed 1/17). So some progress.

As we all know...it depends on who you talk to. 🤣

I called Captain's Club yesterday. The agent I spoke with is aware of the issue and has taken several calls before mine. He said they are working on it and we should all have our points by Friday.

No points for me yet. Nothing showing in my cruise point history yet either. For frame of reference I watched the video on Dec 20, 2023 per my screen shot that I saved.

Live from the Summit - Christmas at Sea (Dec 21-26, 2023) 🎅🏻🎄🎅🏻🌴

That extra lock on the balcony door has been on every ship that I can remember, including the Summit. It is high up so it acts as an additional security lock. -
Watched the video. Actually I think it was one of the better ones I've seen. Maybe it was the couple glasses of wine. 😀 I've been stuck forever at Elite Plus and I'll probably remain there for the duration of my life. Don't think I'll ever get to Zenith.

BCM - I have some questions for you regarding eating Gluten Free. How was it handled within The Yacht Club and also elsewhere on the ship? Were there any options on the buffet set out for you or did you have to ask for items to be made special? Did you encounter any difficulties? I haven't sailed on MSC yet and also am fairly new to having to be gluten free, so only a few cruises with the dietary restrictions.
