Recently the Open Water (screw top aluminium bottle) is not included in SBP. HAL has further refined the rules by adding a limit to the size of bottled water included in SBP. To further confuse things it is, as far as I remember, 400cc. Just found it: (FYI 400ml = 13.5 fl oz) Our convenient, affordable Signature Beverage Package allows you to select from a variety of wine, beer, spirits, cocktails (including non-alcoholic), sodas, bottled water (sparkling or still, 400ml or less) & coffee! Includes any beverage priced at $11.00 or lower (up to 15 beverages per day)

On some ships (Rotterdam/Oosterdam to be specific) they did give 2 cans of water per card, (or a mix of water and soda up to 4 cans for our two cards) even when both cards were presented by one person. I presume that they still counted as 2 drinks off each card. We never got near to maxing out.

We used Larry's Limos to take us from MIA airport to our Fort Lauderdale hotel. We have also used them to collect us from our hotel in Miami and take us to the ship in Fort Lauderdale and they have met us on debarking the ship to take us to our hotel in Miami. When we had a flight leaving MIA on debark day we took a ship's tour that included the transfer to the airport.

Norwegian fjord cruise compromises
VMax1700 replied to ambystoma's topic in Northern Europe & Baltic Sea
Bear in mind that tender ports can be very iffy. We were scheduled to visit Shetlands in September this year but had to sail past it as the wind was to strong to permit safe tendering. The previous cruise also was unable to stop at Shetlands. -

Do you have 'Pop-ups' disabled on your pc?

Wait until you are onboard before purchasing the Freestyle package as a lot of the time the machines are not functioning correctly or are out of order.

I have heard of (and enjoyed) a liquid lunch, but never a liquid breakfast. 😁

I studied this in detail before our 14 day Rotterdam cruise and the answer is yes they do repeat but not an exact repeat. They do swap different main courses/starters between the rotations. So does a menu repeat?- no, but will it look very familiar? - yes!

We used magnets successfully. Lots of metal around the room.

Good enough to get rid of excess water but not enough to shred the frillies 😁

It is a veal dish ok, this is rigatoni con pajata (veal intestines), This image shows rigatoni, and yours shows another type of pasta. I love tripe and drisheen, a local delicacy here 😋 lining of sheep's stomach, soaked in milk and simmered with a gelatinous blood pudding.......mmmmmm! This is rigatoni con pajata:

I don't believe that to be true, as we have tried texting (i.e. sms) from the ship with wifi and internet connection. The message does not seem to be sent until we actually connect to a mobile network. WhatsApp works ok tho.

Daily schedule examples from a Northern Europe cruise?

You are welcome! If you have any more question over the next 8 months or so, just post and if I can't answer, I am sure someone else on the board will have the answer. -
Daily schedule examples from a Northern Europe cruise?
VMax1700 replied to washiotter's topic in Holland America Line
While it is not the same cruise as you have booked, if you go through this thread you will see most of the daily schedules and menus from our recent Northern Isles (Norway/Iceland/Scotland) on Rotterdam, the sister ship to Nieuw Statendam on which you are sailing. It will give you a feel for what will be happening. https://boards.cruisecritic.co.uk/topic/2876762-almost-live-northern-isles-on-rotterdam-august-28th-2022/
