  1. On Rotterdam and as far as I remember, Koningsdam the ice cream is served from one side of Lido and the Breads (including Bread Pudding) are served from the other.
  2. Did you look at the bread basket area (Harvest ???) On Pinnacle class ships it is mostly served from that corner (Port side, forward in Lido)
  3. starts March 19th Next scheduled cruise departs April 9th, but that is 3 weeks later, which is too long for a dry dock so there is a Charter somewhere within that time frame too. Edit: NA is scheduled for an 'Ultimate Slots Tournament' on April 2nd - 9th. @Laminator would this cruise not be available for general public to purchase?
  4. Looks like 'Conditioner' in shower. (plus shower gel - which was closest to shower; and shampoo - furthest away).
  5. You know, I haven't a clue what is in them!!! I only use the shower gel and DW brings her own 'stuff'. So I actually don't know if the white liquid is conditioner or lotion. 🙄 I have tried to enlarge the image to read it, but it is not clear enough. I just looked at the original images (higher resolution) and the middle bottle in the shower is 'Conditioner'. Maybe there is no lotion anymore or, like soap bars, you must request it.
  6. Just bring them on yourself! With security around ports I doubt that a flower delivery would be possible.
  7. Verandah cabin on Rotterdam has three dispensers (shower gel/shampoo/lotion) in two locations. One in the shower and one beside the wash basin.
  8. HAL may just transfer the Shore Ex to the new date for Ship's Excursions. Did you receive a Cancellation Notice for the Shore Ex?
  9. The Mariner discount is only for 5 star Mariners.
  10. As a spotty teenager I remember sailing from Newcastle upon Tyne on a school cruise to Gibraltar, Lisbon and La Coruña. (early/mid 60's). Even the Bay of Biscay was calm in the face of so many raging teen hormones. 😁. Any sailings for Newcastle currently?
  11. Lennie, I believe I posted about the exchange rate on the 'Western Isles' Roll Call, but I was not 100% certain that I could get actual cash refunded instead of a credit to my credit card.
  12. The 'Prepay Crew Appreciation' is charged to your credit card in the same currency as the booking! Even though we had a lot of OBC on our last cruise, I prepaid the crew appreciation as I knew we would be in euro. At the end of the cruise, I asked for a cash refund and accumulated a pile of US Dollars for a future trip, at a great exchange rate.
  13. Expect to pay $50 per person to upgrade from Surf to Premium onboard. (12-14 day cruises)
  14. Not on HAL. (neither pot nor kettle, no matter what colour it is!)
  15. Elemis I think they even mention the brand on the HAL website.
  16. BA do allow up to 23 kg (=51 lbs), but there is a size limit too, which is strictly enforced. ( I do gasp at some of the 'carry ons' at US airports). I really doubt you could pack 51 lbs into the specified size. Up to 56 x 45 x 25cm (22 x 18 x 10in) Up to 23kg (51lb)
  17. You would appear to be eligible for compensation under EU261 as the flight was cancelled between 7 and 14 days before scheduled departure. (I am really not sure how the time differences work or even if it makes any difference. It is probably based on the time the email was sent to you and that probably originated in Europe.)). Here is a link on the KLM site about cancellations etc. I have posted it, because if you scroll to the bottom of the page there are option to contact them by 'whatsapp' or 'messenger' which may be useful for you. https://www.klm.ie/information/travel-alerts#amsterdam-airport-schiphol-operational-issues-are-causing-long-waiting-times
  18. @*Miss G* sorry for your family's loss. Your flight DL9648 is a KLM flight. Did you try your booking code in the KLM my trip? https://www.klm.nl/en/trip As a replacement flight did you look at Easyjet? Their flight leaves at 09.55 which is 10 minutes before your KLM flight was scheduled. Just double check baggage allowances etc. https://www.easyjet.com/en/buy/flights?isOneWay=on&pid=www.easyjet.com
  19. Found it , thank you! It is also in the 'tab' and is easier to read in the tab.
  20. Is there a way to discover the 'voyage number' without a booking? I do not see a voyage number mentioned on the website (eu site) so the protocol tool cannot be used to check status prior to booking. i.e. to know the protocol before booking.
  21. Good morning Jacqui, Would you please add Ellen and myself for a 'Bon Voyage shout' for Rotterdam, September 23 - October 7th, 2023 14 day Jewels of the Baltic (without St Petersburg 😢). Another short flight to Amsterdam to board! Thanks take care, Colin
  22. On Rotterdam recently they had a 'Send a message to the Hotel Manager' form and mail box beside the front desk. I don't know if Testerdam has a similar facility but I know if it did, I would be filling out a lot of those forms and stuffing his mailbox with complaints.
