The 14 day Best of Norway is actually two 7 day cruises sold as one cruise. The farthest North it sails is Gerainger or Alesund. Some beautiful port calls, but personally, I would prefer Northern Isles itinerary or else a Voyage of Midnight Sun, visiting Hammerfest and Honningsvag.

In Europe, many of the testing facilities have closed or are closing in the coming days. There is now only one reason for an official test.............cruising. Venice has almost no available testing sites. So, it was either remove the requirement for testing or the cruise lines supply testing facilities at the pier. They have taken the easier option.

I found the link to the one suggested by our hotel https://crivenezia.myprenota.it/rapido But it appears to be closing on Sunday 17th July as no further appointments are available. The cruise lines are going to have to think this out again as there are less and less locations for testing.

Your hotel in Venice will be able to tell you where to go to get one. When we were in Venice last month our hotel had a QR code in reception that listed the locations for testing. Has the one at the airport closed down too?

Very easy! Depending on where you are staying. There are several Carrefour supermarkets and Carrefour Express in Naples. Just google 'Supermarket Naples Italy'.

Absolutely! For that length of time and location it is a no-brainer!

They are not very good. On Oosterdam last month the binoculars were missing one eye cap and they had fixed focus. If you are boarding in Rotterdam or Amsterdam then I would bring them.

Good morning @LAFFNVEGAS Hope that you are getting into 'our' time zone and enjoying your cruise. If you have time would you check if Rotterdam has the 'a la carte' asian station in the Lido during the evening dinner? We really enjoyed it on Koningsdam. TIA

Although the European version of Verifly seems to operated slightly differently to the N. American version, I noticed two things today. One is the update regarding the test cruises from Amsterdam, (see details on image). The second thing is that when I tried to add our upcoming Rotterdam cruise there is no facility to add a HAL cruise. The only options are Carnival Cruises, P&O Australia or Viking!

Without trying to sound a bit silly, why don't you ask the people you booked with? At least map co-ordinates. A reliable, responsible company would give better information, but then you booked with a third party. Try google,.

Having been in several Vista Suites on Koningsdam, including an aft suite, I would not be interested in paying that sort of money for marginal benefits.

We are embarking in Amsterdam at the end of August this year to do the Northern Isles cruise. I will probably do an 'almost live from' for this cruise on the Rotterdam. In 2017 we did the North Cape 14 day cruise on the previous Rotterdam, so will be able to give some sort of idea what to expect.
