  1. They make it so you can't use both. We just wait to sign up for internet until the end of the cruise so we can use our free days and a reduced rate on remaining days.
  2. @HBE4 You were talking about Leonard and what he might do when he experiences snow. I just looked at the funniest compilation of photos today with cat prints in the snow, leading out of the house and circling quickly back to the door. It is called, "The Circle of Nope". 😃 "I am not going out in the snow. " Google has it easily, but I am not going to post the link. It is kind of click baity.
  3. They never say it is in Canada. I think Buffy, the Vampire Slayer was filmed in Canada, but it was supposed to be a US high school. 🙄 And Reacher is a US Veteran, he doesn't wander around Canada. LOL. ☺️
  4. I believe on our Transpacific, that the Australians told us that gratuities were included in their cruise fare, as sold. The price was all in. Nothing additional was taken out onboard.
  5. I'm glad it went well. It wasn't in play at ours. The person who opened it, really wanted it and hid it. 😃 New people who didn't quite understand the rules. And with the seating arrangement at Cheesecake Factory, it was difficult to see all the gifts. ☺️ It was fun, we had a good time. When it was my turn, I stole a bottle of Maker's Mark. (Which I knew would be stolen from me) Which allowed me to steal the box of Belgian chocolates, which is what I really wanted. 😃
  6. I don't think they will be sharing that information at any time. I know the Indian casino by our other house takes in approximately a million dollars/day. They actually do a lot of good things for the community with all that money. I don't know about Royal Caribbean. ☺️
  7. One of the times we used the bag, we ended up short a sock. It was probably our miscount; we tend to fill it late at night. They must have called us 3 times to apologize about that darn sock. We kept assuring them, that it was no problem. ☺️
  8. Wow! That is a much more robust meat & cheese plank than what we received last time. ☺️ Ours was kind of sparse.
  9. This kind of reminds me of coyote sightings on Nextdoor. One seems to pop up every other day. Stingrays live there. Coyotes live here. It is not uncommon to see them. ☺️
  10. I would expect that the small segment cruisers might be more inclined to gamble more. If you are going to be on a cruise for a long period of time, it might not be that interesting to toss money at the casino.
  11. Thank you so much. I understand. I signed up for Medigap right away. I am trying to address a few questions that a friend has. I appreciate your explanation. ☺️
  12. Bonnie. I'm not Dave, but I have a couple of questions. May I ask why you chose Medigap Plan N, instead of G or even C, which provide more coverage? They include some out of the country care. And secondly, are you trying to switch from an Advantage Plan which usually includes your part D drug coverage? Medigap needs an individual Part D. Aren't you penalized by trying to add Part D at a later date? A friend had some questions, so I was just curious about the decision process. Thanks. Just catching up.☺️
  13. And without further cluttering up the World Cruise thread, I would like to thank you all for your toilet advice! 😄(As odd as that sounds). With the best of intentions for frequent visits to the other house, we were tied up for some time with mom's cats and their medical issues. The first time it was Grey Kittyy and fluid therapy. We left the toilet lids down, and all of the toilets had nasty black mold in the bowls when we able to return in 8 months. And then the next time, we left the lids up, and didn't have the mold problem. And we don't seem to have an evaporation problem. Then Bobby was sick, so that was another 3 months. And they were kind of grungy. We went up in October, with every intention of going back in November. I left the faucet on drip, because we have a flat rate water bill, so the pipes won't freeze. Thankfully. And then car and more home renovation stuff happened. I don't know when we will get back up. But I am going to try putting a little bleach in them and maybe plastic wrap next time. I appreciate the information. ☺️
  14. LOL. Bill didn't want Timmy on his truck making scratches. (He is really picky about the cars) Early on, he went out and tried spraying him with the garden hose in mist mode...and Timmy made such god-awful shrieking, screaming and flapping noises that all of the nearby neighbors came out of their homes to see what animal was being tortured. 😄☺️ Bill was really embarrassed and turned off the water and slunk back inside. Timmy just shook himself off and looked smug. And stayed on the truck. We just gave up after that and he buffed any scratches out. He was a funny bird. ☺️
  15. We loved Timmy. He hung out with us for about a year and half before he was apparently hit by a car. There was a minor car accident on our street, and the firemen/paramedics showed up. Timmy loved trucks and he was standing in between us, gobbling the whole time they were working. A couple of the firemen walked over and asked if he was a pet, and did we feed him? We said no. They asked if we could pet him, we said no. He is a wild turkey. He used to sleep on the neighbor's upstairs balcony railing. Timmy. Thinking the garbage truck is chasing him down the sidewalk. It is pretty funny. Make sure your sound is on, if you want to hear him gobble: https://video.nest.com/clip/1863cf05ea7a4f8283f18e0e42aaa5b4.mp4
  16. I didn't know. We didn't arrive until noon last few times. DH went and got tickets, and they called our tender number around 2:30. 😛 It seemed sort of slow to me. But it is not as though we haven't been to Cabo before. 🙄 I apologize for the question about a larger ship. Interesting that Quantum tenders in many other ports. Thanks for the replies.
  17. It should be easy. They are one-hour blocks of time. Most people choose the earliest. To be perfectly honest, most ports don't pay much attention to check in times anymore.
  18. I don't know. Someone who has stayed in a suite on the Oasis Class ships, would know better than I. ☺️
  19. I know Sue, but aren't there a lot more people. It is a pretty slow process, even on Navigator.
  20. I've never seen a wild turkey with that coloration. That's cool! Thanks for sharing the photo and video. ☺️
  21. Would Ovation be able to tender everyone in Cabo, though? I don't know what capacity is on Quantum class ships. ☺️
  22. But I don't think they count vouchers in the Suite Lounge during Happy Hour?
