When my mom had a home health care nurse, the surgeon had to arrange/approve/recommend it as part of her shoulder surgery. I don't know if that is always the case. She came up for the first week, every other day to check her incision and replace the coverings. I don't know how aides work or how you get that arranged.

We always add gratuities when we book the cruise. And they have always been added to and paid at final payment. If you call and add them now, you will pay them at final payment. GTO-Girl's experience is not what others have experienced, for whatever reason.

They are great! Just chocolate truffles in pastel colors with a hint of fruit flavor! But you will probably get something else instead. There are photos online, but we ate ours. 😚

When the buck ran into the driver's side of my Camry, I was only going about 7 mph, because I was in front of the high school at drop off. He took out the driver's side mirror, smashed his face against my window and did $3000 worth of damage to the side of the car. I just remember that horrible, flattened Rudolph face on my window, as my feet came of the pedals, I tried to climb into the passenger seat with my seat belt on, and I steered towards the curb. And I just sat there for a minute. And then this gentleman came up to give me my side mirror and see if I was okay. I remember him brushing all of these huge deer ticks off of my driver's side window with his sleeve. They had all been knocked off the deer in the collision. I got of the car and thanked him. This beautiful buck was laying in the traffic lane. And I was crying. And then he shook himself all over like a dog and trotted off....☺️ I was thinking, Wait! we have insurance issues. He seemed to be fine, just stunned. I didn't realize how many ticks are on a deer, but there are a lot.

We were on a B2B and thought that perhaps we could have an edge that way. Unfortunately, we could only remember the same WRONG answers that we had the week before. 😊 We're old.

No more beach towels. We were on Serenade B2B. The first week, we received 4 large tote bags. I gave one to a couple that we met onboard and another to our room steward for his mom. We don't need that many tote bags. I went and talked to the Loyalty Ambassador. On week 2 we received the tote bag that folds into another bag. We received something else too, but I don't remember what it was. I had asked for truffles, but it wasn't that. And the water bottles just seem to be variable. I had a link to the most recent list, but I can't seem to find it. Thanks! It will be fine. I think they are just being overly cautious because the Oakland Hills fire was in October 1991, and because of what happened in Lahaina. ☺️ And if the house did catch fire, we wouldn't have to worry about the termite work and moving all of this stuff. <jk>

We've been getting these all day. They are predicting very high winds with 40-60 mph. gusts. Any fires will be out of control. And this is at the SF Bay Area house. Warnings are good, but it is a little alarming. "This is an Alert from County. We went to Costco today and purchased 3 boxes of full-size candy bars. We don't need that much for our dozen or so trick or treaters. But we will have chocolate until Easter. ☺️ They also had 3 pack boxes of chocolate covered Macadamia nuts for $17.98. I might go back and get another one. I always seem to need small gifts (plus tip) for the nail salon, hair salon and just miscellaneous things. Plus! I really like chocolate covered macadamia nuts. 😄
