Not recently. And just maybe one or two, quite a few years ago. They are pretty on top of pest control on the ships. (on all cruise lines) The only time I was ever concerned about it was when I first encountered no-see-ums in the Outer Banks in North Carolina, and I didn't know what had bitten me so badly. We put the suitcases in the garage and put all the clothes directly into the wash and left the luggage out there for a few days. But it was needless worrying. βΊοΈ

We attended one, many, many years ago and purchased Jim Davis signed Lithograph for $65. It is actually worth quite a bit today. We really like cats. βΊοΈ We were drinking with the auctioneer at the bar on Song of America and asked him how much it usually went for? He said $65. It was the last item out and the bidding started and ended at $65 βΊοΈ

Put your luggage in the bathtub or bathroom while you check out the room. Don't turn off the lights unless you are using a black light. Don't use a black light, because there will be things you don't want to see anyway.π Bedbugs have sort of a sickly, sweet smell from the decaying blood. Check behind the headboard if you can. Pull the mattress up slightly and check the box spring. Pull the mattress sheet up slightly and check the piping. You are looking for dark spotting or striping, little bug shell remains or anything that just looks "wrong" about cleanliness of the bedding. Bedbugs are out there. Media reports them as increasingly common. I don't spend a lot of time checking or worrying about it. I have been in a lot of houses and apartments that were being treated for them, and the first thing I always notice is the odor. Probably TMI. βΊοΈ But *I* didn't bring it up. Sorry.

I spent a lot of time at the aquarium on Pier 56 and with Shamu. I also enjoyed the Ye Olde Curiosity Shop with Sylvester, the gunslinger mummy. βΊοΈ -
Liberty of the Seas Crown & Anchor Question

Oh sure. They can go to the event with you. I don't think anyone will care. Just take your invitation and walk in together. -
I would say 9 or 9:30, so you don't have to stress about getting off.

And just out of curiosity @TravelGirlinDallas have you had any new carpets installed recently? It would only be anecdotal, of course. But there is some speculation that more cats are becoming hyperthyroid because of the stain proofing in new carpeting and the fact that they lay on it and bathe so much with their tongues. Bobby, and a previous cat, Walter both developed hyperthyroidism after new carpeting was installed. I was just kind of curious if any others noticed a connection.

He was fine with it. And we all had a wonderful time. πAnd I've never even worried about the card thing. It is an activity. I'm never going to have enough points to get anything. It is just called gambling, not winning.

Bobby has been hyperthyroid for 3 years and his thyroid hormones keep breaking through the medication and he gets skinny and vomits sometimes. I've never heard of medicated cream. He is up to 15 mg. of Felimazole a day. (which is like a people dose) But he is doing pretty well and goes back to the vet on Tuesday to have his thyroid checked again. Bobby loves his pet carrier box. We just leave it in the living room, and he sleeps in it, off and on during the day and sometimes at night. π I had a photo, but things seem to be posting wonky, so never mind.
