It doesn't go down. (Or at least it hasn't on our recent cruises.) You can either forgo your D+ discount and purchase it at a lower price before you leave. Or we wait until the last 3 or 4 days of the cruise and purchase it then on our own accounts. I'm not really good at sharing. If you purchase it onboard, your 2 day D+ discount will be factored in, but it will be at the higher prices.

Stuart Woods is a very good author. I still think "Chiefs" is one of the best novels ever. (From any author) And if you ever get a chance to watch the mini-series it was very well done. That would be the Will Lee series, but the other books don't reach the caliber of "Chiefs". His Stone Barrington series is fun. As is the Holly Barker series. He is not consistently a good writer, but generally his novels are very enjoyable. (IMO) ☺️

A few more photos of Featherdale We truly enjoyed it. Wallaby Kookaburra Koalas are Soooo cute. And who knew? Wild dingoes just look like dogs. "Dingoes ate my baby" would just be like a dog attack in the US. I can't seem to get another line in. The last photo is of a Tasmanian Devil. You may remember him from Bugs Bunny cartoons. They have him in a round enclosure, and he runs constantly...in a circle. Such unique animals! I won't bother anymore.

That's ALL? That is ridiculous. I just complained about the inconvenient and terrible smoking area on Serenade. And on a much larger ship, that's stupid.

LOL. One of my co-workers has a llama. He boarded her up the hill and used to walk her down to our house. We put her in the backyard while we visited and chatted. He trained her as a pack animal for Yosemite tours, and he is now a Ranger there. And the people down the street had ostriches in their pasture for several years. We would actually pull over in our cars to watch the mating dances. And the neighborhood next to ours has wild peacocks. I just love animals and wildlife. 😊They are so interesting. But Australian animals are so unique and different from ours, the opportunity to see them up close and personal was amazing.

Far be it from me to advise, but with some mobility issues, I didn't want to sign up for the bridge climb. We just did the Pylon Climb instead. Plenty of stairs, same view from the top, where you can watch the bridge climbers at eye level, and only about $15 per person in case I couldn't make it. ☺️And you can take all the photos and stuff that you want to up to the top.

He just tried some. He could sort of smell them. Then he was trying rums. He could smell them. Then (for unknown reasons 🤔) He tried my nail polish remover, and he could definitely smell that. 😃 He has been researching online and had found a similar or the same article. Thanks. I wouldn't have thought to mention it.

I know. We only have wimpy tornadoes. It is still weird, and we have no desire to live in a state that has huge ones. Earthquakes are one thing. But giant tornadoes would scare the heck out of me. The VP of Bill's former company has family in OK and they have lost TWO houses to tornadoes. And yet, they still have insurance? 🙄

Hi Matt! Are you back in LA? D+ voucher drinks are any drink up to $13 or $14. I say, or, because the prices have gone up a bit, but they all seem to be covered by the vouchers. We still buy the drink package, but then occasionally use our vouchers to get drinks for others. Or sometimes I get 2 beers at one time, if the (pool) bar is closing soon. ☺️ Edit: Never mind. Read your other post regarding location. ☺️

Age specific activities for cruise-awkward age 20
Coralc replied to LrgPizza's topic in Royal Caribbean International
We just spent 2 weeks on Serenade and there were Hyperlink activities for that age group every day. -
Wow. It is funny. While we were cruising, our Ting electrical monitor notified us of a tornado warning at our Sonora house. I laughed, and thought, Oh Sure. And then I was reading My Motherlode, the online paper up there today, and sure enough, an EF 1 Tornado touched down and did damage in the area on March 11. 😮 We have had absolutely crazy weather this year! And Pat @taznremmy is still happily cruising on Oasis and missing all of this nasty weather. ☺️

It sure is. Very, very wet. And with the high winds, we keep losing trees and power locally. And losing roadways. 2 lanes of 580 over the Altamont are closed because a retaining wall washed out. Bad news for E/B commuters out to the valley. It was nice to be away from it in the Caribbean for a couple of weeks, though. Only to come back to more of the same.

The towels have loops on one end, and you can hang them on the hooks on the back of the bathroom door. They dry pretty quickly. I think that even though we had a fresh supply on the towel shelf, we only replaced our towels twice during the week. We don't replace them that much at home. We had a JS, and they are still twice a day service. We sleep in though, and our outstanding room steward would service at about 3 PM. And then peek in later on, and see that see that everything was great, and there was nothing further to do.
