  1. Gee @mattR I really appreciate, your non-appreciation. The Navigator of the Seas even has an Escape Room! The activity lasts one hour and costs $19.99 per person. You must be 12 years old to participate and there does have to be at least 6 people signed up for the activity to run.
  2. And I forgot to mention something about our Serenade cruises. I like to sit on the pool deck and read. Around sunset, on week 2 on our way to the Bahamas, a very magical thing happened. A pod of 8 dolphins were surfing the wake and leaping out of the water, chasing the ship, right next to the side. Just for fun and flying fish. It was incredible, and they did it for about 10 minutes. I had my phone, but it wasn't turned on. I was more interested in watching them, than taking photos. Memories of ocean life like this are just amazing! And I don't think you have it so much on the larger ships. And that's fine. It would just be a different sort of vacation. ☺️
  3. Yes, some folks keep their homes much neater than ours. Something I should probably aspire to. Everyone seems to move their homes much faster than we do. I am going to have to work harder. The snow has finally melted at the other house. Plus, others are moving to empty houses. And I think that would be a lot easier. 😏 We still have to clear stuff out of there and take the cat. Off topic, sorry. We actually like Vision. We had another 12-night cruise that was booked under double points that was cancelled. Prior to that, on a previous cruise we had sewage/water flooding in the bathroom, twice. But they cleaned it very, very well and gave us $200 OBC and a 15% FCC. We like the ship, it's fine. We liked Majesty & Monarch too. If all you mostly do is read on a cruise, it doesn't really matter which ship you are on. ☺️
  4. That's like those Adirondack chairs. They are horrible. I don't know how anyone sits in them, except for young people. I can only perch on the front edge.
  5. Ice show no reservations. I didn't even notice Navigator had laser tag. But check your cruise planner, or the app once you get onboard. Or maybe someone that has played it knows. Sorry.
  6. No shows to book. I *think* the Escape Room was $19 p/p. I don't recall seeing it in the cruise planner, but it was available to book in the app once onboard.
  7. $54.99 for week 1 on Serenade, I think it was $59.99 for week 2 on Serenade in March. B1G1 half off is NOT the best deal.
  8. I think that epidural in his back is why he is without pain. I was bouncing all over and walking stairs immediately after my second hip replacement. I crashed a bit the next day. The surgeon laughed and said yes, the epidural is kind of amazing. 😊 Versed just makes you forget you had surgery. They use it for colonoscopies, and other things too. πŸ˜„Layman's opinion. Since both a physician and anesthesiologist post.
  9. That would be horrible! Can you imagine sitting there until 4PM without eating or drinking anything? And after fasting all night probably.
  10. On Navigator, Johnny Rocket's Express will add liquor to your milkshake. No cost if you have the DBP. (Or maybe if you use a voucher) ☺️
  11. Serenade....not Quantum. Reading helps. Photo quoted to SHOW blanket. And on Navigator, they were beige bed blankets. Not. That it matters. πŸ˜›
  12. The blankets on Serenade were red plaid. At first, I thought a group had brought their own, but I realized that people all over had the same ones. ☺️
  13. Navigator in California has blankets to check out at the pool towel desk to watch movies. Lots of people do. Recently, on Serenade in the Bahamas there were plaid blankets to check out at the pool towel desk, to watch movies or just sit on deck. So, I would say yes. There will be blankets to check out at the pool towel desk for a cold weather cruise. After you check them out, you can take them wherever you wish. Just make sure they are checked back in. If pool towels are $25, I have no idea what a blanket would cost. πŸ˜„
  14. You can purchase Omeprazole without a prescription here. There are several brand names, the most common being Prilosec. I'm glad he is getting some relief.
  15. That's really neat that you were there! We were on our weekly grocery shopping excursion yesterday, and "No Shoes Radio" was talking about them being at Mohegan Sun. And you were there! ☺️
  16. We had a Romeo & Juliet balcony at Bally's one time. Low floor, the only time we've ever had one in Las Vegas. I think Bally's is torn down now. No balconies, people jump after losses. We've been many times. Bill used to have annual HazMat training and I would go out to the zoo, animal walk at the Flamingo and tour, shop and gamble during the day. Many shows, but I don't really like Cirque shows. Seigfried & Roy, Starlight Express, Penn & Teller and Spamalot were my favorites. ☺️
  17. That's cute! The Dollar Tree (now $1.25) has lovely calendars. We used to buy expensive ones, and sometimes really expensive ones. πŸ˜ƒ But theirs are perfectly sufficient. And a little double sided tape holds up floppy photos, should that occur. They are full sized with great photos of all sorts of beaches and other things.
  18. We had an hour delay in March (SWA) to our connection in Denver because the plane was "overfueled" . We had to wait while they removed 5,000 pounds of fuel. We barely made our connections in both directions to Tampa and back. πŸ€•
  19. Deck 7. No noise from the elevators. They are in a separate lobby. And the obstruction is from the lifeboat covers, which only means you can look out at everything, but not straight down to the water. ☺️
  20. Glad you and John's family are okay. They have tornado warnings (or tornadoes?) in New Jersey? I did not know that. All these geography and weather (and food πŸ˜„) things I am learning. Thanks!
  21. You are a Unique Individual....as are one million other people just like you! ☺️ If that was directed at me.
  22. "What Is The Difference Between Brown And White Gravy? The main difference is the liquid that's used in the gravy. Brown gravy is normally made with meat fat and broth, while white gravy is made with milk.Jul 16, 2021" I am foreign, in that we live in California and not the South. πŸ˜„
