We returned home from Serenade last night. Bill just tested positive for Covid. He doesn't believe it and wants to try a different test. LOL. 🙄 They were fine, but kind of cursed from the beginning. We won't be cruising in March again. I will write more later, when I am not so tired. And my ears are still plugged up from the plane. Edit: Test #2 is also positive, we fought the good fight for 3 years, but it was inevitable. And this is a bad week for me, if I come down with it. I have to apply for Medicare and probably Social Security this week. Bill took it at 62, but I think I will take it anyway, even though I am not at full retirement age, because they will take the premiums out of the payment.

Not much you can do about the weather.

Cold day at Cocoa Cay today. 70 degrees windy, rough water. Snorkeling canceled with red flags. I feel sorry for the 700 kids onboard that had booked the water park and those that booked beach club. It was not a good beach day. We stayed onboard.

Hi Pat We’re fine. Week one on Serenade. Costa Maya today. 4 ships in port, including Allure. We are staying onboard 😊

We are taking a break from cruising. We have cruises in March, but that will be it for a while. And I don't want to list all of the reasons.

I don't even understand this thread. Izumi is ala carte, we have the 3 night package. I order 4 tempura shrimp and wonton soup. DH orders whatever he wants. No bill. I don't know about other places. Chops, Giovanni's, Jamies, etc. cover the whole meal. And regarding your bottle(s) of wine. Yes! You can share them with whomever you wish. ☺️ The dining package DOES NOT include a Freestyle machine drink cup. For that, you would need one of the beverage packages, soda or above.

I really don't believe they were wearing bathing suits around on Navigator recently. It has been freezing cold, with snow and rain. Nice story, but my apologies, I don't really buy it. Bathrobes, maybe. But not bathing suits.

Sure. If you don't mind being out the money. It is between you and the cruise line. I'm sure kids are probably no-shows frequently.

Are you using your phone? It takes better photos than my camera does. It is probably time to upgrade both, I think.

That is kind of poor service from the concierge. I really dislike being told that something has been booked, or fixed, or corrected and then finding out that nothing has been done. Thanks for your review, it was entertaining.

No. The hills around us did, and the Twain Harte house did, we just had rain. It looks snowy in Napa though. ☺️
