  1. When did your cruise get cancelled? I know they had major problems on or around October 10th when I booked an offer with $2000 FP and was given $500. I have been trying since that date to have it corrected. Finally someone listened to the call from when I booked it and the follow up call that I made shortly after to tell him it was wrong. He admitted it was their mistake and his Supervisor was made aware it was wrong. That was last week, and still waiting for them to fix it. Oddly my upcoming cruise next month was paid in full 21 days before we sail, last cruise I was told it would be 4 days. Told them that was unacceptable and they paid it about a week out. Our first cruise in 2019 was cancelled for non payment but I caught it immediately and called and had it reinstated. My cruises are all flagged now as Protected so that is not supposed to happen again. Tried to book a cruise yesterday so we could do a B2B but even though it has a book by date of December 13, 2022 on his screen it does not show the mini suite. And the cabin we wanted is now gone but there is one literally across the hall. Many with cancelled casino bookings, wrong free play, air is messed up etc. Literally what can go wrong has and they are very slow to rectify their mistakes. I have been promised since day one a call back from a "Supervisor" and now I am at almost 6 weeks dealing with this and NOT ONE call from them. I did luck out and have been dealing strictly with one person the last few weeks who is almost as frustrated as I am with the delay. And most importantly he calls me when he says he will. FYI I ignore those emails about final payment, my cruise portion is paid in full at the time of booking and those are basically reminders for the casino department. About 2 or 3 weeks out is when I start enquiring if they have paid it. Hope you get a positive resolution to your issues, so many unhappy with that department right now.
  2. Same thing happened on our very first cruise with Princess, cancelled for non payment by the casino department and when reinstated it was done without the VIP. I recently cancelled a cruise for a much better offer and same issue, original showed Casino Comp Incremental instead of VIP.. Multiple calls they said it was there but mine never did get corrected in my Personalizer. Finally had someone in the casino department listen to the call from when I made the newest booking, definitely should have the $2K FP not $500 trying to be optimistic as he does seem committed to getting this fixed for me at least and its nice to not be put off constantly.
  3. I’ve been trying for 5 weeks to have mine fixed so frustrating.
  4. You're welcome, we're from Canada so port pick up is our only option. Literally takes maybe 2 minutes.
  5. I belong to a few Facebook groups and some are posting that even though they requested them to be mailed they are being told to pick them up at the port. Good news is if they're not ready it only takes a couple extra minutes. Enjoy your cruise!
  6. My husband goes I quit playing years ago. I did stop by last cruise to see how he was doing and it was so painfully slow no way I could play a session.
  7. My Prestige cruise was September 27th and I was contacted by my executive host July 19th asking for my preferences. My offer was for a balcony FP and Princess Plus and I chose my cabin when I booked it. Yours may be a mailed offer mine normally take about a week or so to show up if it’s not sent by email.
  8. I did the Prestige cruise on the Crown in August. I chose the Diamond package and we were given the Chefs Table with galley tour, signed cookbook and rose. Excursion was a whale watching tour which was awesome. We also got the same gift, apron, cutting board and spices. I had the car service which was definitely not what the limo company said it would be. I received multiple emails stating that the driver would be at baggage claim with a sign. Nope I had to call him only to be told I had to drag my bags to his location. Flown in and out of Seatac many times but was not familiar at all with where the pick up point was. He didn't even get out of the vehicle which wasn't marked in any way until I was beside him. Only time I have not tipped a driver extra. Going back was great, driver was amazing and happy to top up the tip. IIRC I didn't find out about the car service until the Executive Host emailed me regarding the option to be picked up at the airport or they would pay for parking.
  9. Thanks I was wondering about that I reached Elite on our last cruise and my husband Platinum.
  10. With Princess you pay taxes and port charges plus a $200 non refundable fee. You can also pay to upgrade to certain categories if available. If you wish to each book your own cabin there is no single supplement. No clue about upgrading with 2 certificates but I have never seen that option mentioned. Personally I would rather have a cabin to myself YMMV
  11. If it was a charge it would show on your CC statement. Either pending or posted.
  12. Nobody said it was, the OP said only the larger amount was.
  13. Referred to Corporate Finance means you have a credit coming back to you by mail. It won’t say it’s from Princess so don’t toss it. My husband doesn’t always use his non refundable credit so at the end of the cruise they deduct it from my balance owing since all our changes go on my card.
  14. I was told by casino staff in September that they would be replacing some of the older slot machines during the dry dock. Does anyone know if that was done? Sure hope so!
  15. I have tried calling and speaking to someone else and I'm told only the "Navigator" who booked the cruise can help me and he is not picking up or returning my calls. They need to fix their mistakes when they happen this is ridiculous, frustrating and time consuming.
  16. I cancelled and rebooked a cruise with the Princess casino department last week new offer was considerably better so I was ok with not getting back the $200 non refundable. When I got the confirmation email Instead of the VIP cruise it showed up as a come back offer with the one I actually booked still showing as available. It was escalated to a “Supervisor” who was supposed to contact me and calls to the person who originally booked it are now not answered or returned. I have never disputed a charge and would prefer not to but if they are not rectifying their mistake I don’t have a lot of options. Has anyone had to do this or did your issue eventually get fixed?
  17. For my issue it is the casino's fault or an IT issue or a glitch whatever the latest cruise of mine they messed up isn't until April, so has zero to do with final payment.
  18. I cancelled a cruise on Wednesday because I received a way better offer for the same date. When I checked my Personalizer not only did they book the wrong offer but my FP is short $1500. Called them back, said he would escalate to a Supervisor. That night it cancelled and then shortly after was reinstated with transfers and still the wrong amount and offer. I did not want transfers and that they were able to fix. I've made multiple calls to get it rectified and so far nothing has been done. Do I wait, notify my CC company for a charge back? Cross my fingers and hope they fix it? I am trying to be patient but this is their mistake. Our very first casino offer was for a VIP that was cancelled for non payment which I caught and put my cabin on hold until I could speak to someone. We never got the perks for that cruise, even though I had all the information with me to show them because we weren't on "the list". So check everything when you get your confirmation, check your FP, Princess Plus and in your account under Future Cruise Credits you can confirm they booked it under the right offer. Mine was given a come back and my VIP still shows as available. For a cruise in August they still hadn't paid their portion 6 days before sailing said it would be done 4 days prior. Nope I insisted they do it then which they did and the next day I received confirmation for a cruise I had booked prior for 5 days after I disembarked.
  19. I did this on Wednesday, or tried to. Cancelled the original booking upgraded from a balcony to a mini suite with 2x the FP. I was told I’d get back the taxes and port charges but lose the $200 NR which I expected but it was worth it to me. The new offer was booked under the wrong promo so I ended up with half the original FP and I have been trying to get it fixed ever since. It’s a considerable amount so they need to get it right. I was told it had to be escalated to a Supervisor which apparently means nobody is doing anything to rectify their mistake. My only recourse is to dispute the charge but I’m really hoping they fix it. Any changes, bookings etc have to be done through the casino department. New bookings might be ok but for myself and others we picked a bad day to book a cruise.
  20. You have to set up an account on a slot machine after scanning your Medallion, enter a 4 digit pin which must be entered every time you want to charge to the room. IIRC any of my OBC's were used first but I also have FP from the casino so not absolutely certain about that but you can certainly ask.
  21. I have been calling the casino department trying to get this fixed.
  22. I booked a casino offer and the free play is a fraction of what it should be. It was also booked under the completely wrong offer. Mine was also cancelled then reinstated with transfers but free play still wrong. Got someone to delete the transfers at least. Made multiple calls but because its a casino offer apparently only a Supervisor can fix it. Beyond frustrating that it’s been days now with no resolution.
