  1. Have a back up plan just in case, I would have booked a second refundable flight for my own peace of mind weeks ago. We did a coastal out of LAX to Vancouver earlier and had flights on both Southwest and Alaska within hours of each other ended up keeping the Southwest because last minute fares are crazy.
  2. Perhaps for cruises in the US only. Its still up to the individual cruise lines, in fact I wouldn’t be surprised to see a survey drop soon addressing this. Pretty sure Canada will not be stopping the testing requirement anytime soon.
  3. I’ve been told the casino pays anywhere from 2-4 weeks out. I always book my own air and hotel especially since the airlines are a mess right now with delays and cancellations. I did have one cruise cancelled for non payment by the casino department but caught it and had it reinstated. Don’t waste your time emailing keep calling.
  4. The emails are an expected part of booking the Prestige cruise. There are additional perks associated with this cruise and we are given our choice of options. Most of my casino offers arrive by both email and snail mail and I am not the least bit worried about this or any other booking I have with them. Offers can only be booked through the Casino Department and like I said I only contact them through the number stored in my phone.

  6. That is an online cruise agency has nothing to do with the Casino Department.
  7. The car service needs your information as they will track your flight (done this many times in Vegas) especially important now with all the delays and cancellations. My email did not have a contact number which number are you calling? I have 4 upcoming cruises and the Prestige is the only one that does not show up in my upcoming cruises on the website not sure if that is something I need to worry about but I’ll call them about it soon.
  8. I received my email July 7th with a response date by July 13th. This is my first Prestige cruise but I have read that car service is one of the perks. They did say they would call the number I provided to set it up. What is your concern with the most recent email? BTW I checked and nothing further from them yet. My email did state it was from the Crown Princess Casino Team so I assume all correspondence would be through them and not the usual casino phone number.
  9. Sailed multiple times in a mini suite and no half bottles of wine given. We do receive a glass of sparkling wine on embarkation when we meet our steward.

Thanks I tried using Google maps to see if there was outside seating available at the terminal, I'm going to have to wait somewhere and I should be hearing from the limo company soon and hoping to find out my options are. I'll speak to the porters and Princess staff when we arrive at a reasonable time for our cruise on the Discovery on the 14th. The walk sounds really nice definitely worth checking out.
  11. Have you requested to be moved to another cabin? No idea of the capacity on the ship right now but I've read of others with multiple issues being moved on various sailings. I would never think to ask for a fan normally on a ship but it may help you if any are available. NOT the same as air conditioning but at least the air moves. I would take them up on the spa though, if I could get a pass for the Thermal Suite which sounds pretty nice. Hoping they get the issues resolved soon.
  12. I was able to order raspberry for instance if it was part of a featured dessert on the Majestic in early April. Vanilla is good too.
  13. Flying into Seatac next month and arrive at 6 AM. Because of so many recent airline issues, delays, cancellations etc I chose that time in case I have to drive down from BC. I have a sedan picking me up and taking me to the pier and I estimate I will be dropped off sometime around 7 am. The car service is part of my booking. Dropping my luggage off should not be an issue just wondering if there is anywhere nearby to spend a couple hours no problem using Uber.
  14. Have you looked at Alaska Air they fly from Bellingham to Vancouver? Also Evergreen Car Service does Bellingham to Vancouver we looked into them last year and they had good reviews. checkmybus.com has some options also

  16. That was my thought also, but I did change my password. I also clicked on the lock symbol before changing anything and got the site is secure. Sure hope so lol.
  17. Like land based restaurants at least where we live I believe the ships are still having issues with supplies. I have learned to modify the items on the dining room menus that I don't care for, sweet potatoes, succotash, and risotto for instance and have been happy with the results. As you say the French Onion soup is outstanding and so is their Fettucine. I've only ordered gelato nightly in the dining room hoping that can be done on the Crown. Washrooms can be found easily by using the app or the screens by the elevators and have done that multiple times on a new to us ship. 2 out of 3 upcoming cruises on the Crown we were able to book a table for 2 in DaVinci at our preferred time so took what we could get in Botticelli and will try and change either before we sail or onboard. Hope you enjoyed the ports Alaska is beautiful we loved it last year and I am actually on 2 different ships in August with slightly different itineraries and looking forward to both.

  19. Thanks for posting this, I am booked in August and I am happy to read someone is enjoying their cruise. Actually I have 3 cruises booked on the Crown between August and December and am looking forward to all of them. Personally not worried about missed ports of delays but enjoy reading about the positive experiences people are having.
  20. We stay at the Cosmopolitan in Vegas and the redemption machines had an option to donate the change to a charity of your choice listed on the screen. We always did with no issue. Whenever I’ve cashed out at the end of the cruise always got the full amount including change.
  21. All the information is tied to your passport and they do not need to see it, but it does have to be filled out and submitted to Princess. Used the app many times both for cruises and land crossings and it works the way it’s designed to.
  22. We live 10 minutes from the border and I booked August flights from Bellingham to Seatac on Alaska Air. I booked the first flight of the day arriving about 6 AM. Ugly but there was another one arriving around 11 ish but hoping to be onboard by then.
  23. Yes it was me, and I had copies of the offer and the original booking from the Personalizer but was told since I wasn’t on their list nothing they could do. Definitely taught me to keep on top of my bookings.
