  1. If we went back to the past and paid for every drink ala carte and had limited WiFi minutes many of us would have a much higher bill. Packages are not for everyone. There is no way to make individual packages for each passenger.
  2. I had thought the mini suites are a collection and the restaurant is a class. At least last month on the Crown that was the wordage
  3. Mine is always 1day difference and I am in Oregon and sailing from Vancouver
  4. Not on a package And 7 drinks won’t get me into dinner
  5. And I am gobsmacked at the price of restaurants in London. Do people really ever eat out there ?
  6. We had these on the Crown but in our suite they were on the desk not the bedside table. We just used our charging device for multiple devices
  7. Then why does it have a Hotel General Manager
  8. You get the green check mark whether you order the medallion or not. So if I choose not to have the medallion shipped and show up in the green line how do I get the medallion
  9. As far as I am concerned a ship is just a floating hotel. If I stay for a week and have a long history with the hotel I guess I should insist on the same perks I get from Princess
  10. I feel I am getting an even better bang for my buck then I did 30 years ago. I was referring to people who seem to think they should be able to make up their own packages and when they can’t they say that Princess doesn’t care about their customers I stay at particular hotel chains on a regular basis but none of them offer me free laundry and mini bar. Maybe I should call them out
  11. If all you people hate the “New” Princess so much why do you still sail with the line ? It sounds like you are expecting a lousy cruise but still book them.
  12. If you are getting a medallion shipped to you then green otherwise blue. Blue just means you are picking up the medallion
  13. As a suite passenger who uses Reserve Class Dining I often see people trying to talk there way in there after being told they will have to wait at their normal dining room
  14. As I mentioned before if you allowed each person to make their own package up you could have 3,000 different plans which would be near impossible to administer. You are calling people names based on their lifestyle. If I return to the ship at 3:00 I would probably have 2 glasses of wine at Vines, 2 pre dinner cocktails, 2 glasses of wine with dinner, an after drink drink, maybe 4-5 in the casino and then grab a double Sambucca at Crooners as I head for my suite.
  15. Yeah if they are not used much then why is there a massive queue at 4:45 waiting for them to open
  16. When drink packages first were introduced they were unlimited unlike other cruise lines and Princess said we trust our customers not to share. A year or so later the limit showed up. Nuff said
  17. You are saying that is over $15 ?
  18. You can share one plate. We have done this on several ships
  19. We eat at Sabatini’s every cruise app, pasta and desert is my usual order
  20. So there could be up to 3,000 different plans one for each guest. I would hate to try and administer that
  21. I like to at least have a window so I can check the weather before I dress. Back in the early 1990’s we were in an inside for 10 days in Alaska and they slipped a note under the door each day with weather data. It always said 60 degrees and cloudy. It was actually in the 40’s and wet. The must have pre printed thousands of them
  22. IC is free. Buffet is free MDR is free and open for breakfast and dinner every day and lunch on sea days. Soft serve ice cream is free.
  23. MDR is open for lunch on sea days and breakfast everyday. You can have as many or as few as you want. The buffet is on lido deck and is an alternative to MDR
  24. I really don’t appreciate being called an alcoholic. Some of use don’t go to bed until 1:00 am we have plenty of time for cocktails. I am 73 and yes I go to gyms. Packages are what they are I don’t get a discount from Medicare if I don’t go to a doctor one month
  25. All Princess ships are anytime dining. If you meet people on board you can ask to be seated together
