  1. The smoking area is why we still bring masks on cruises. If we want to use a slot in that area it makes the smoke reasonable unless someone is sitting right next to me
  2. I have no idea where you read that but unless the cruise as multiple segments it will only be 2. Just another reason we stick to the plus package. We are cocktail drinkers and all of our preferences drinks are under $15. We sail mostly on 14-21 day cruises lots of sea days so most days we can have lunch in the MDR
  3. Just like Uber rides, theatre tickets etc. Why should cruise lines be different ? I have a ticket to see John Cleese next week and the tickets I got months ago for $90 each are not going for 3 times that
  4. No separate queue. There is a separate area of the MDR with a separate entrance
  5. We tip a lot of people on a cruise but the concierge is not one of them. On Royal class ships they are part of the suite perks so no tip needed. We really only use them for specialty dinner reservations. On non Royal class ships we get help from the Sabatini’s breakfast manager
  6. Crown did not need tokens for washing or drying on my last 2 cruises
  7. We both run 10,000 points each and only get specialty dinners when the casino screws something up with our free play. What we usually get is daily “presents” to the cabin
  8. Except that you can use your OBC to pay for excursions instead of using credit cards so how does that help Princess ? Everyone I know has at least a few hundred dollars of OBC
  9. Nothing false at all prices and promos change constantly. The law of supply and demand
  10. I can’t even call 20% off of an excursion really an offer we see these kinds of offers daily and just ignore them
  11. We never assume a free meal from the casino. With the premier packages there are more people in the specialty venues. We usually go to 2 per cruise without issue but we never eat before 🕢
  12. Different perceptions. For us the Vines menu is full meal for 2 and we almost never eat all 6 truffles
  13. We usually ignore free inside cabin offers for a while and then at some points we start getting balcony offers again. Since we 7 cruises booked through 2025 we will wait for a while
  14. It varies ship to ship we have been on the Discovery and Crown recently and machines were free but on the Crown you had to get tokens for detergent. We travel with detergent sheets so it was free for us. We sail in 2 weeks on the Ruby and will see what happens there
  15. In addition to taking shots of offers I also take screen shots of travel summaries as I have had issues in the past with casino free plays showing up on ship
  16. All drinks served up get a little larger pour. I drink manhattans with real light vermouth my wife drinks vodka up with no vermouth and it seems like a bigger pour then folks just getting drinks as shots or on the rocks
  17. My bet is 2 of the 15 per day were charged for each double. That is how it works for me. If they didn’t the bar manager would having a conversation with that bar since the bottle count would not match up with drinks charged
  18. Once again do you really want to see my after I have had 30 shots of bourbon on days my wife is not feeling good ?
  19. I would get one. The are Princess employees and can help out with other departments
  20. The aft penthouse suites on Royal class have the huge wraparound balconies. We generally avoid Royal class but if we love the itinerary then these are the cabins we book
  21. Totally agree dealing with the casino is a pain let your CVP give you advice
  22. The journey portion on the app will not have data for quite some time. I am sailing April 14 on the Ruby and nothing shows except for excursions. Don’t panic you will not starve
  23. Which ship ? The deck plans should give you some indication
  24. There are a few things that have an added cost as far as a 2nd entree. If there is the price will be noted on the menu
