  1. We travel on long sea cruises. Like 16 day cruises with only 4 ports. River cruises do not interest us nothing to do at night
  2. We only eat on shore for lunch which cannot be eaten on ship. How many breakfast and dinners do you have on shore ? Most times you leave port prior to dinner anyway
  3. If you eat 2 of the desserts you won’t be able to eat any meals. The plus package was made for people like us who have 10+ drinks a day
  4. This is very common and you will not believe how many people will line up to get off
  5. Sounds like Vegas. We have never had to bribe anyone and have never had a problem. Just being polite goes a long way and eating after 7:30 or 8:00 really helps
  6. If everyone who fell on a cruise sued the courts would be tied up for years and the ambulance chasers would be lining up at piers I tripped over a poorly parked scooter in the casino and broke 3 ribs never thought about a lawsuit or complaint
  7. I wonder if they are referring to the strange packages with hotels the the Princess Promotions / Future Creise group push
  8. We make it a point to ask to have the drinks allocated one to each account. Usually they get the clue after a while. The do it to one account since it takes less time and is easier. Since we each average about 10 drinks a day that doesn’t work. You can check how many drinks are on an account by looking on your app
  9. The only real differences are location and reserve class dining area. We sail full suites and most the time the dining has been good. Virtually no wait for a table, servers have only a few tables so service is pretty good but again it depends on the crew. Also in addition to the regular menu for lunch and dinner there is one additional item usually an entree or special salad or pasta announced when you are handed your menu
  10. At which casual venue ? I have never been able to reserve on advance
  11. Just call the dine line and request a different day. If motive’s a popular day you may not have the time you want. We always eat after 7:30 and not usually a problem
  12. Our favorite lunch place is Finn’s Seafood.
  13. We were there last year for a full day and there is some great food
  14. Just a note on the small boat at Hubbard Glacier. They will be very little elbow room. The upper deck is usually packed shoulder to shoulder with photographers
  15. For a domestic flight. People fly with driver’s license all the time. They should only need the passport to board the ship. If you needed a passport to fly domestically then planes would be half empty
  16. This cruise will not involve international travel so I don’t know why the TSA would care
  17. Not in my opinion unless you are just getting to buy souvenirs at the port
  18. That actually makes sense most of my med cruises include TransAtlantic crossings so only 3 plus 2 on the med cruise
  19. My next cruise sails on the 14 into May. Perhaps it is longer than 16 days
  20. For one person I would feel ok for the size of the cabin but personally I feel a need to look out a window. Are the ocean view cabins for a little more ?
  21. Roll calls are not necessarily an indication of interest. I have b2b this summer and the 2nd portion does not even have one yet. We have a Canal cruise in January and we have already booked an excursion in Columbia because it is one we have done before and really liked
  22. That is a really long month
  23. Kaiser Medicare Advantage here We have always had to pay up front when out of the country and then file for reimbursement
  24. I still prefer the Coral and will be sailing her next year
