    What I don’t get is if the changes make you miserable than why do you continue to cruise with the line and/or post to this board ? I for one love the lights to show me the way to the bathroom

    That is my understanding as well. It would be very difficult for the bartenders dealing with 2 versions of the plus package. In the past if you asked what liquors fit in the plus package they would point you to the area of the bar where they had them grouped

    Yes In fact you cannot make reservations in club class. I have never waited more than 2 minutes to be seated

    Unless something has changed it has always been the difference between your plan maximum and list price plus 18% and of course it counts as one drink on your plan

    On our Royal b2b one entire side of Dolphin deck was the isolation area. I know we were on it and it was totally locked down

    If there is an outbreak it is much easier to group the infected. When we were in isolation only certain crew members were allowed to enter the area and smoking was allowed on balconies. Would not want to be next to a cabin with cigarette smoke

    Poster mentioned that the 2nd person does not drink much. 1 person can get the beverage package by itself but that does not include gratuities or WiFi and is more expensive. Sharing can and has resulted in some passengers losing the plan and no refund

    On our last 2 cruises we cashed out over $2,000 between the 2 of us. Does that happen every cruise no but the chips used in machines are not really different from each other and with video poker machines the payouts are posted

    We really only used that while in covid quarantine. We prefer the socialization at the bars

    We found that as well on the Majestic. However on the Royal and the Ruby we tried some machines we have never seen before and had a lot of fun with them plus we had some pretty good wins

    Just remember that on a world cruise ports are few and far between. On sea seas you may miss those 8 or so cocktails

    We were just on the Ruby for Thanksgiving and had really no problem with smoke on the non smoking area since it was quite away from the smoking area. Only really bothered us when we had to go to the cashier and only the windows near the smoking area were open

    I doubt we would be able to afford cruises without the Plus package. With drinks at $8 +each and we each have 6-10 drinks a day the package is perfect for us. We have cruised for over 30 years and don’t need photos etc. As long as gratuities and WiFi are included with the beverages it is a no brainer for us

    Have sailed on 4 cruises since reopening and only one was less than stellar. Yes menus might not be as great as before but service is still excellent. Cabins are kept up and bars give great service as I sail along. What can I complain about?

    I also have not had a bad bed on any Princess cruise in years

    We have an awesome CVP. She always responds within 24 hours. Can’t imagine better service

    We have sailed in that location on many different ships and rarely had an issue

    We got reimbursement pretty quickly after our CVP escalated our case even our casino winnings showed up within 2 months

    It was so great having the World Cup games on MUTS during our Ruby cruise over Thanksgiving

    Plus is perfect for us and always has been. If we paid by the drink we would have an enormous bill. Plus it means we have prepaid for most everything in advance and can walk off with a very small bill for specialty restaurants or discounted bottles of wine. If we do well in the casino we might even walk off with money in our pocket

    This is merely a rant and I really hope I do not encounter this person on any of my cruises. Some of us like some of the changes like the night lights. How much difference does a few toiletries matter etc

    I still get offers via email and snail mail at least every month or 2

    The only cruise referenced here is a Celebrity Nov 2023 cruise and cabin category C2. Princess does not have such a cabin category
