I have still never seen a QR. ode on ships ever. We have cruised over 8 times on Princess in the last 2 years and have always been handed a menu. The menus are also posted on your TV and outside the venue if handling paper menus bothers you
We don’t eat dinner before 7:30 even at home. On ship we generally don’t get back to the stateroom till after midnight or later. Plenty of time to digest food
We don’t like to pay in sf dance for the specialty dinners since we like to see MDR menus in the morning before making decisions. We have never had an issue getting into the venues after 7:30 or so
I have gotten printed menus at all food venues since restart no need to look at a menu on your phone. You can see menus every morning on your TV as well
Plus package and reserve dining does not have any free special dining They tend to range from $35-$40 per person plus 18% tip. You can pay in advance or book on board. No free access to Sanctuary With plus package you can order on room service by phone or use Ocean Now from the app no extra charge but some items may have a charge
Having been on short cruises with college age spring breakers the only place that got crazy was in Skywalkers late night otherwise it felt like a normal cruise
When I am drinking a high end bottle of Pinot, eating a steak the last thing I need is a lot of noise or tons of perfume around me. In the case of Royal class ships add the fact that some food venues are open to the piazza with a deafening amount of noise the singing gets louder and louder to compete and one cannot hear oneself think. I come on a rise to relax not to be assaulted by noise
On ships without a Take 5 we have always looked for the house band playing in various venues several times a cruise like Adagio or Wheelhouse or Piazza. The are very talented musicians really love playing jazz rather than backing up guest singers
We are also retired and could not go a single day of our lives without internet. We like to keep up on news and sports and of course Cruise Critic. Be aware that in the IC the regular drip coffee does have a charge
Yes having worked in restaurants the waiters tip out bartenders and bus boys at a minimum. Chefs are generally not tipped out and they make substantialy more than the others
Reserve Dining does not need any reservations. There will be paperwork in your suite telling you which dining room. There will also be a large sign at one entrance saying RESERVE DINING. No need to make reservations for embarkation night. It is guaranteed and they hold tables for suites. Just call the dine line when you embark or go to the venue in embarkation
An advertisement is not a contract. If a car dealer puts an ad in the paper and it omits a zero that is an error you will not win any case that r rn looks like this. There are many laws protecting companies in this type of situation
