  1. It is really hard to pack enough for 16-21 day cruises. We generally do a load about every 7-10 days as needed. When we can we choose port days that we have no plans for
  2. On earlier cruises there were several games a day on MUTS. Some Royal class ships do not have a casino bar
  3. Suite perks not existent ? Free mini bar, free laundry , concierge lounge, Sabatini’s breakfast, reserve class dining , free specialty dinner on embarkation day. We use all of the above
  4. If you dart late like after 7:30 you should have little to no problem as a walk up.
  5. You can do that but I would not do it on an ongoing basis or with too large a crowd. It’s one thing to order for say 4 people and another to order for 20. What you cannot do is bring them into Sabatini’s for breakfast or Reserve Dining unless they are in a reserve class mini
  6. Actually I think some things are even better. Medallions rather than cruise cards, the ability to find where friends are on board, unlimited WiFi. I could go on and on. We have been sailing Princess since 1990 and love the Grand class ships
  7. The food was wonderful the wines good but I would not pay that much same with chef’s dinner
  8. Back when we turned elite it was quarters not tokens. I am not going to run around to save a few pennies
  9. It is a great perk however everything they launder goes in at the same temp. There are some things we want to do on delicate so we bring some soap sheets and spend $6 about once a week
  10. They treat me like gold and offer a really good plus package
  11. We always want to sail aft so yes we pick our exact cabin
  12. You would only get a 3rd would be if you are in a full suite for embarkation night
  13. As long as your extension cord does not have a surge protector you can bring it. I have been bringing one for years. The ones they provide are industrial size
  14. Do that often and you won’t be average size for long. LOL
  15. I am not sure dashing is the correct term but meat and clean for sure
  16. I still have never seen any paperwork saying that elite status = free tokens
  17. I felt the casino was too small for the amount of passengers compared to Grand Class ships
  18. One price all inclusive would have people screaming I don’t want to pay for drinks or I don’t use WiFi why should I pay this etc. This would start another long thread
  19. Yes but at a higher price. The beverage plus by it self is way too much when compared to a package
  20. We avoid the rush, have an early lunch or late breakfast on shore and then board after 1. All cabins are then open and no lines to board at all.
  21. Basically as long as you have decent clothes on there are really no restrictions on formal night although you will see more suits and tuxes on those nights. I wear the same clothes regardless of night crew pants and button door shirt. The only people I have seen turned away we wearing shorts or ratty clothes and this varies ship to ship
  22. They didn’t ask me the drive the ship so I guess I was OK
  23. We had no problem getting drinks while quarantined. The issue never even came up and room service delivered wine and cocktails
  24. Likewise. And we still get priority tendering and embarkation among others
