Of course Princess didn't do all they could. They could have not let anyone on, or they could have isolated everyone to their cabin for the cruise or they could have made everyone wear full ppe for the entire cruise. They were providing a cruise in an ever changing environment and as such could not do everything without severely affecting the cruise experience. Hindsight is wonderful but then no one could predict the need for 2020 vision back then.

Well we have had our shares since 2013, (price was close to $37/share) and have well and truly paid off the initial investment in OBC, as well as getting dividends $200 per annum until covid hit. It may take some time to get anywhere near our initial buying price but we will have numerous cruises in the meantime and hopefully dividends as well.

We started with ANZ and still have investment accounts but the trading is through CMC Invest, it is easier and also provides an extra layer of security.

These base fares may be cheaper to start with but all the extras starts to add up, to possibly more than just the Princess Plus fare.

Ours was showing and the cruise is not until April.

Some lines handled cancellations due to covid better than others and also at differing times the same line handled differing circumstances with different approaches. It was all new at the time and the approach was constantly changing just like the covid policies.
