Believe me, the dinners in Luminae are not worth that amount for a guest.

I just left the Ascent where I was in a sky suite and actually was standing outside my room listening to the lady in the next room (sky suite) berate the room attendant for not getting her room done earlier….yelling at him, it was so ridiculous and our room guy was so good, always happy and good at his job. i felt so bad for him. Trust me, being in a sky suite makes you no better then staying in an inside cabin. Although the room was very nice I guess I’m not one who uses all the other suite amenities.

We were in 6198 terrible cracking and banging. Woke up in the middle of the night with a sound like someone banged our door shut, it was annoying to say the least. Never complained just thought it was because it was new, growing pains!

Does anyone know what was done with her extensive dry dock. Did the bathrooms get shower doors or do they still have curtains.?

I would always ask where captain Dimitriis is and sail with him whenever I could, he makes the cruise so fun! never sailed with his brother, but wish I could.

The horrible toilet paper (I agree by the way) is there for a reason though this is specifically for their sewer system, it would not be wise to bring your own, worst ever though agree, but a definite reason.

I could never pay that for lunch, prices in their specialties are so high.

Thank you, I did do that actually, not easy there was one on 9 same category I called celebrity to ask, they told me they couldn’t help me I had to email the move up program, I did email them but by time they got back to me there were no more rooms. Even my TA called them and they told her the same thing. Not as easy as it use to be.

I won my bid from a sunset veranda and received a MC sky suite on 6🤬🤷‍♀️ I will make the most of it, do I have regrets? Kind of…..actually, in my haste to upgrade I never considered one of them. im hoping to enjoy the retreat and luminae, although I have been hearing such bad stories of the retreat area being so overcrowded. Keeping fingers crossed.

I do wish you luck, I applaud you for trying but celebrity is a big corporation and I doubt you will win, although I wish you would. bait and switch might be the wrong term, maybe unethical to change their services to sky suites like this when so many people booked expecting more upgraded services. I too have a sky suite booked in January from last year and it’s upsetting to say the least that they have done this. I love cruising and received a good price on this suite or I too would have cancelled. We will see what the cruise is like and go from there. good luck!

We hired a private driver and I’m sorry can’t remember his name so not much help but he was wonderful, there waiting. The boarding was fine, you have to ride a bus from the terminal to the cruise ship and being your luggage so don’t overpack. Are you doing Antartica? We did it last year, it was such an exciting experience, I just loved that cruise.

Interested in want the ship could do about it in the middle of cruising?

My bid was just accepted to move up from a sunset veranda on 10, to a magic carpet sky suite on 6. has anyone been in a magic carpet sky suite? Does the magic carpet interfere much with your balcony? I’m in a middle room, not the end room.

If you win a move up bid from sky suite to a higher suite (royal or edge villa) do you get the specialty dinners along with that move up?
