Morning everyone, hope you are all ok today. It looks cloudy outside here but the sun is forecast, still warm though. Some gardening to do this morning then will have a wander out this afternoon if it’s not too warm. It’s St Annes Kite Festival this weekend which is always great to see, the kites are amazing. It will be nice to sit on the beach watching them all. Take care everyone Michelle

Morning Jane & everyone, gosh it was warm last night wasn’t it? We had the fan going all night and still too warm. Our grandson is doing ok, I text him yesterday, he said he was fine. He has not taken any painkillers since he came home just antibiotics. His mum says he has not eaten much yet, he is having the same mushed food as his baby sister for next few weeks. I suggested she spoke to her Dr about getting him some high calorie/protein drinks, my dad at something like that when he was really ill I seem to remember. He isn’t a teenager that can do with losing weight really, he needs the calories Michelle

Too hot for me, in my younger years I would have loved it but not now Michelle

Thanks Kalos, he is home and has just been sleeping probably due to the anaesthetic and the fact he had no sleep at all Monday night. Hopefully he is going to make a good recovery Michelle

Grandson update - he’s had surgery and has two plates screwed in to secure his jaw. He is currently sleeping, might be home later tonight. I am just glad it wasn’t any worse cause it easily could have been Thank you everyone for all your kind words Michelle

We usually split the driving but because we had four grandchildren, my mobility scooter and luggage we needed to take two cars. Forgot to say earlier we stayed the night before at Elizabeth House Hotel, it was very nice, clean and good breakfast. Nice pub across the road for a meal and a great playground for the children Michelle

In the middle of the night my daughter text me, she was in A & E with eldest grandson(15). Earlier in the night he got jumped and was punched breaking his jaw. He has been transferred to a specialist Max Fax unit for surgery. They have been sat there nearly 12 hours as there are no beds. He is been given antibiotics and should get surgery today. The Hosp have said they are going to report it to the Police as it is such a severe injury, which my daughter is too. I have hardly slept with worrying. Hoping to go over probably tomorrow when hopefully I feel a bit better. Michelle

Morning everyone, hope you are all ok today. We arrived back from our cruise on Anthem of the Seas on Sunday evening. I was shattered after driving from Southampton to Halifax tgrn back across to Lytham, I won’t be doing that again anytime soon. We all had a lovely time, the grandchildren went on the skydiving and flow rider and joined in lots of other activities. We had food in Jamie’s, Chops and Wonderland which they loved. Unfortunately me and my hubby are now both not well, full of cold so I have been on the lemsips for the last 24 hours Michelle

Morning everyone, hope you are all ok today. I am not looking forward to today, well I am but I’m not. Driving down to Southampton from Halifax ready to join Anthem tomorrow. Because we are taking four grandchildren plus my mobility scooter and luggage we need two cars so a long drive ahead. We are staying at Elizabeth House Hotel where I have never stayed before leaving the cars at ABP parking. Have a nice day everyone Michelle

I like watching those too. I remember waiting for Thursday evenings and my mum and dad saying “what a noise, that’s not music” or “turn it down its too loud” Michelle

My daughter was on the flight LS931 out of Manchester yesterday. I am almost sure it was a scheduled flight as you could buy the seats on Jet2 flights so I am thinking there would have been staff there in Malta waiting for them as that was the flight P & O put them on Michelle

The first Christmas without my dad was difficult too, I know how you must have felt. My mum coped fantastically or she appeared to be coping to us but I expect there were lots of memories going through her head too as they were in mine Michelle

When I booked I wanted a table for 5, the only time they could accommodate us was 12.15 and there were only a total of 10 places left so fingers crossed there will be an atmosphere - hopefully!!! Michelle

Love Miller & Carter, we have booked for Christmas Day. Our first time eating out on Christmas Day so hope we like it Michelle

We have been to Wonderland on Harmony but we are going to take the grandchildren next week, I think they will love the whole experience. One of them has asked to go to Jamie’s too Michelle

Love Chops!!! We have got a specialty dining package for three nights so we will definitely be going to Chops. We are taking four grandchildren with us too, I might need another cruise when I back. Their parents are having a break at the same time and going on Azura. Michelle
