  1. DH and I especially like when assorted cheeses (and crackers) are the afternoon snack! He also likes a small bowl of potato chips, on occasion.
  2. I'm not a beer drinker, usually, so I can't help with your question about Mic Ultra, but selections are somewhat limited why docked. But, they get everything moving normally, as quickly as they possibly can, once they hit the right distance! We were on the PRIMA last Fall out of Galveston. Somehow, we were only charged the taxes on our first two drinks. Yet, I know we enjoyed more than those two!!!
  3. A rate of 8.25% is imposed on each alcoholic beverage sold, prepared, or served by "a permittee." The above rate is taxed until the ship has reached international waters (and NCL can then bring our their usual supply)!
  4. Benefits per tier level are available on sailings 5 days or longer. Onboard Discounts (including the pre-booking of shore excursions) are available on all sailings regardless of sail length. * Please visit our Latitudes Rewards Terms & Conditions for more details.
  5. You will stand in a line to have your room key-card scanned.
  6. It seems that a call to NCL (or TA) is needed to review your account and fix (or explain) why you have additional charge(s).
  7. It's great that you are planning so well! However, you do not need to link your room. They will ask for your key card at the host desk, and again at the end, the server will request key cards (for accounting of the meals).
  8. Perhaps the following link, and/or phone number will be of help: https://www.ncl.com/ca/en/about/accessible-cruising#allergies-diabetes 866.584.9756
  9. You are free to keep the bottle(s) in your room, or ask at a bar (or restaurant) for them to be stored for you. You will be given get a slip of paper (claim ticket that identifies your bottles to the server) so that you can request them in restaurants or bars.
  10. Norwegian, like RC and others, has ongoing sales with changing "X% OFF" deals. It is possible that there might be a better offer over 4th of July (or not)! As for refunds, IF you are more than 120 in advance (read that as 121, to be safe!), then you may cancel with no penalties. One offer that might be of interest is their current "Cruise First" offer. But, be sure to read the T&Cs carefully to verify if it would meet your needs!!!

  14. As a somewhat general rule, avoid the rooms that are listed as "Family" (whichever category), since they quite often have tubs.
  15. You will find that with a year to go, excursions tend to come and go. Popular excursions tend to sell-out, so, they might have a wait list. Just keep checking back occasionally!
  16. I was probably remembering that pricing from our cruise last December, and with 20% added, rounded everything up to "about $400!"
  17. We booked our pre-cruise stay at the Caribe Hilton. It was a nice property, and not a terribly far ride to get to the port the next morning.

  19. Can't hurt to call and ask if you can still have it removed from your account!
  20. 🤪 Honestly, that might have been for a "full serving." Sadly, I can't find our photo of the pricing, but I believe they had two "sizes" available.
  21. I believe to rule, and wording, are rather new, with "enforcement" being more likely since May. Wishing you luck!
