To get the best help with recommendations, perhaps you could state what type of square footage would be comfortable for you. While a balcony is a big deal to us on Caribbean cruises, we did not utilize our balcony nearly as much in Hawaii as we thought we might. If you will be out and about most of the day, then enjoying dinner and entertainment onboard, you might select the largest balcony room available, instead of a suite, to keep your expenses down. In case you weren't already aware, NCL uses "American workers" (mandated by Hawaii), which drives up the cost of cruise.

@mexicobob and @luv2kroooz have given good advice, especially if you choose the NCL buses, which might drop-off at a different terminal than your flight.

Most excursions will not be loaded to your cruise for awhile yet! We'll be in Tortola in December and haven't been able to book any excursions for that area, yet!

Things have changed significantly since they originally upgraded the Latitudes levels, so do not expect results that some Diamonds had received in the first few months it was released. @Portia! has describe the "most-likely" type of results for most Diamonds moving forward.

Agree!!! It is amazing that there are still people who go into the restrooms and leave without washing their hands. I don't care if it's to brush their hair, or whatever else, hand washing absolutely should take place before walking out of the restroom! DH says things are the same in the men's restroom!

You will hopefully be relieved to know that yes, there is a retractable clothesline in the shower. You and your child(ren) will be able to get soft-serve and/or drinks in the buffet. You might want to look into Splash Academy for whatever the Getaway will have going on for your family the week you cruise. Don't panic too much and have a great time!!!
