  1. Paying for OJ? The water out of the tap, and at a meal is free.
  2. Doesn't it say in the quote you used the poster is flying from Atlanta to Ft Lauderdale?
  3. I would agree with @njhorseman, who has stated the historical practice for Carnival. But the best place to ask is the Carnival board, as this is a Carnival policy and procedure issue.
  4. You asked what happens if you hit 16. I answered that question.
  5. Anything over 15, you pay full price.
  6. Yes. Just as you posted on this thread. If there isn't a Roll Call thread, you can start one, just use a title that resembles the other Roll Calls.
  7. No, you currently can't spend OBC to book stuff prior to boarding. There have been rumors, of a change, but nothing confirmed. The book now with credit card, switch over to OBC when on board idea has been discussed here several times. Yes, you can do that for excursions, dining arrangements. If a waitlist is present (like for an excursion) you may not get past the waitlist to rebook. HIA typically includes drink packages and Internet. So unless you are going to upgrade once on board with OBC, it seems silly to me refund for those when on board.
  8. As to Piraeus to Athens, taxi or public transit would be the likely choice. I think there is a light rail line that runs from central Athens to the port. Some research on the Italy board for the Capri question would be a good idea.
  9. Pre arrange? No. Just request when you are ready.
  10. Yep...that would be sort of important info if the OP wants a solid, helpful answer...
  11. You will be amazed at the number of taxis lined up, if you look at or about the time disembarkation starts. The line could easily be a couple blocks long, two or 3 cars wide. The ease of getting a taxi and the strong recommendations to do so are discussed here almost daily.
  12. The bartenders/bar staff typically work under a contract where the tips are split unevenly between the bartenders and waiters.
  13. Maybe. They arrive earlier and earlier. Cabo is the best bet.
  14. It also has to do with wind direction and waves....so can't answer. But one trip we were at Half Moon Cay, which is in sight of Princess Cay. We had winds from the east...the tendering area was somewhat sheltered by the island itself, and we got in. But it was a little dicey...but the water was the warmest it has been of our 10 visits.
  15. Not aware luggage comes any faster in a Suite. Ours has come quickly or slowly...varies by cruise.
  16. We have done carry on only trips by train around Europe a few times, and have a carry on only trip scheduled for June 2023, which will involve AMS-Paris, then regional and local trains to Bayeux and Reims. We have also trained in Italy...Rome-Venice-Florence-Cinque Terre, then back to Rome, as well as Paris-London. Our bags have always gone with us, usually in the overhead, but once or twice at the rear of the car. In that case, we carry a bike lock style cable lock to secure the bags. We were in our 50s and 60s, now this coming trip will be 60s and 70s. I wouldn't be able to convince DW to do these if we were dragging checked bags.
  17. You will not be close enough to shore to reach via cell until you approach a port. And much of the land as sail down the coast in Baja California is very lightly occupied, so not likely there is even cell coverage there.
  18. You will clear both Immigration and Customs, Immigration takes the most time, not Customs, unless you get a random search, which happens rarely. However, there are changes in progress involving biometrics, which might speed the process. Perhaps someone who went through recently can explain what the exact procedures were this last summer.
  19. Try Rome in Limo. Wonderful company...huge thread just down the board.
  20. I always, in non-Covid times, expect the ship to full, or so close its hard to tell the difference.
  21. Nothing that is fully transparent, unless you are a travel agent. What you can see on line doesn't account for guarantee bookings. So you can see if given categories are sold out, but can't see really how many cabins are still available.
