We went to an adult game show on a different Silhoutte sailing. It was really idiotic. The theater was divided to make to teams. They would take a player/rep/volunteer from each side and they would have to guess the 10 most common words used for certain body parts, sex acts and etc. It ended up people yelling out words from the audience. Points were awarded for the wining side. In the end it didn’t matter who won. We were doing a B2B and didn’t attend on the 2nd cruise. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

One issue is that making the animals more of the resources and the ships are trying to go “green”. I doubt you would want to use this towel afterwards. One night we came back to our cabins and didn’t see any towels in the lav. Problem was that they were used to make the towel figures that were hanging from the ceiling. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

Back in 1973 we were at Disney World. It was our 7th anniversary. We were at the Golf Resort for Brunch and had our 2 children with us. One as wearing a shirt that had Downriver AYSO Soccor on it. There were 4 females at another table. They said that we must be from Michigan as they were at one time from a city in “Downriver”. We started talking and they said that we really seemed to enjoy each other’s company. We said it was our 7th anniversary and we were celebrating with the Champaign Brunch. They thought it was amazing that we were married 7 years. They were all divorced after 2 to 4 years. We also thought it was great that we got past that 7 year itch. It seemed like a long time at that time. Not that it was a big chore or struggle to be married, or stayed married. It was just the time factor. Now it has been so many it is getting to be old stuff. Pushing 60 years. Pretty soon we can apply for SS and Medicare again based on that time span. 🤷‍♂️. When they ask the audience how long they have been married we never respond. Don’t see any purpose. It is like the person that sailed the most. Let them have the glory for what it is worth. I also want to know how old you have to be when you now become young? 🙄 Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

We were confined to our cabin for 5 days because of testing positive for Covid in 2022, Had room service for the 5 days. We were in a suite and had butler service. After that I no longer want room service. if you don’t ask for something you don’t get it. Ex. Toast. That is what you got. No butter, jam or etc. Luminae burger. That is what you got, no mustard, ketchup for the fries, and etc. salt and pepper? Didn’t request it so we didn’t get it. Everything always arrived cold. We just got off of a few weeks in a suite. Didn't even ask for coffee to be delivered in the morning. We were happy to be able to leave our cabin and get it from cafe al Bacio and enjoy it out of our cabin or get it in the retreat lounge and enjoy that area. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

I don’t recall any dining room being open for lunch on port days except maybe a specialty restaurant. The dining staff needs to get some time off when in a port to use the wifi, buy some personal supplies and etc. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

In Alaska you may also be able to connect to your cell plan without any extra charges. It is in the USA. Just be careful when still near Canada unless your plan covers that. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

To add to my previous post we pre purchased during a Black Friday sale. I think we got 3 cards for $24. I was planning on using my CC status to get the 4 for price of 3 when I picked up the cards. Found out that the benefit doesn’t and I think it states that when purchasing. I didn’t read the fine print. It was still a better deal. The sale time and location will be posted in the daily paper. It is usually a few hours prior to the game. One time it was at the casino cashier and on our last cruise it was in the Reflection Lounge. I stood in line while my wife left to find a some seats in the Reflection lounge. It was a very long line. When I got up there I found out that I needed my wife’s sea pass card because they were bought in her name. The clerk told me that I wouldn’t have to wait in line again, get her card and come back to the front. You know how that turned out. There were a lot of angry passengers telling me where to go. I still had to wait while getting all of the rude and hostile comments because she was processing another passenger. That person was getting hostile because she wanted the CC benefit of 4 cards for the price of the 3 that she purchased prior to while on sale. She wanted to see it in writing that the benefit didn’t apply. She wanted to see a supervisor and was getting very nasty. The clerk asked her to move aside while waiting for one to come but she refused to move. The clerk now ignoring her started to process my cards. The person waiting for a supervisor yelled at her that she couldn’t give me those cards as they were hers and she wanted them. While waiting I found that I wasn’t the only one that needed to get the other sea pass card as others also came to the front because of the same problem. This became a problem because they were now trying to get ahead of me. Make sure you have the sea pass card with the name that they were purchased in. On that cruise I won $5 in casino play. I played VP to use it and hit 4 aces with a 3 on my last $1.25. Won $500 There was a lot of drama involved for no reason. Things weren’t very clear. 1. You don’t get 4 cards for the price of 3 using the CC benefit if purchased with a discount promo 2. Have the sea pass card with the name of the person used to purchase them or have that person stand in line to get them Another tip is to play the game that is earlier in the cruise. Most lower amount of winnings on the card are in casino play. The higher amounts like $300 and above is in cash. If you wait until the game that may be played on the last day you may find the casino very crowded to play your winnings as people are using up their SBC. The servers and staff will gather around and sing Happy Anniversary. You may get a cake with a sparkler on it. I think you have to let them know as I don’t think it is passed on from the form you fill out. We don’t let them know as we don’t like the attention, or disrupting the dining area. The butler or attendant may decorate your bed with rose pedals and a towel figure if you designate you are celebrating something. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

They usually have 2 game sessions and will be posted in the daily paper. It is always on a sea day. The 4 cards are to be used for 1 game session. You do not have to attend to play the cards. All you have to do is check the cards at the casino after the game and they will tell you if you won anything. It would be like a lotto card for the matches. If the dollar amount matches the dollar amount on your card for that box number you have a match. I think you need 2 matches to win something. The more matches the more you win. If you don’t attend you won’t have the chance to be the playing contestant, or a chance to win a cruise. I doubt it would conflict with anything of importance unless you have a nooner scheduled. 🥰😍 It is a fun and entertaining activity. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

That is what I learned from talking to the staff. They didn’t know nothing about it. They sell cruises. Advice was to call the race track. It is ultimate auto racing at a very reasonable price for what you get. Not the phony WWE NASCAR garbage. It isn’t anything that Celebrity promotes on board because they want to attract new customers. I wonder how many more venues Celebrity hosts and how to find out where and when? Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

That is why I make my posts public. So people aren’t allowed to , or prevented from cheating. People that make posts on how smart they are by how they cheat the system aren’t very smart if that is what they do. I don’t cheat the system so I don’t care. People that cheat raises the price for those that don’t. That is why I make the way to cheat public. That way Celebrity can do something to eliminate it . Hope it makes sense I worked in a casino as a dealer, supervisor, and pit boss. We were taught how to cheat. Not to cheat the players but how to prevent cheating by the players, and workers. Do you have a drink pack? If not why would they need one? If you do, why would they need one??? Have an occasional mocktail. 🤷‍♂️🙄🤫 How much other than water do you expect them to drink? You can take soft drink on board. Take a case. In the MDR they offer juices in the morning. There are flavored drinks available in the buffet, and Spa Cafe. When in any port restock the soft drinks. There is no way that they can keep track. If you put 2 in your carry on you have one for you and one for the other guest. 🤷‍♂️ Same in your checked luggage. I was watching 24 of Daytona on and off. At the end of the race they mentioned that the teams will have a shorter race coming up at Sebring that is only 12 hours. Not a bad price for what you get. When on a recent cruise I asked at the Future Cruise Desk about it. They didn’t now anything about it. Was told to call the race track as it was probably part of Celebrity marketing to expose the cruise line to the “affluent” race enthusiasts. You are allowed one or 2 bottles each. Put one or 2 in your carry on and one or 2 in your checked luggage. The worse that can happen is they get confiscated. Most times it gets passed thru. There should be glasses in your cabin, if not ask for some. Fill the glasses in your cabin and take with. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

In Consierge you will also be able to attend an embarkation lunch in one of the MDR. The party that isn’t in C will not be able to attend. They are very strict about that. They have a check list with your name. If they don’t see your name you don’t get in. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

I have had Sue as a cd on a few cruises. She always seemed to stop and talk with everyone she sees but then says I can’t talk as I am very busy and have to go. Then why stop while we are sitting having a coffee? One time I made a comment about the lack of and bad entertainment. She said that she didn’t have any control over that and has to work with what the main office sends. On another cruise when she stopped to “talk” I commented about one act and also how good all of the entertainment was. Her response, thank you, I personally hand pick the entertainers for my cruises. I do believe that they do have some input but they are limited to what is available so both of her responses would be true. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

It may claim to be private but it is very crowded. There is a coffee pot, and some pastries set up on a table. If you think the buffet is a Petri dish stay away from that table. It is unsupervised and gets very nasty looking. Sometimes it will be held in a main dining room because there are so many that have that benefit. On one cruise there were over 1500 elite and above. Actually I don’t remember anyone checking if I was elite or above when entering. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

What is the issue with the buffet? We were on the Beyond in Feb in AQ doing a B2B. The buffet was fine. There were plenty of tables available and the selections were great. Personally we don’t find the CC lunch that great. Limited menu and nothing special. We had as a benefit doing a B2B on that cruise. Went because it was that benefit. Would have been better going to the buffet. Wouldn’t book a CC just to get that. Actually I shouldn’t make this post as all the passengers that go elsewhere such as Luminae, Raw on 5, and etc. helps to keep the buffet less crowded. 😱🤗🤷‍♂️🤫 This is my opinion and I am sure many will disagree. Don’t waste your time taking the photo. You don’t need it and they won’t use it. They will use the one that they will take as you check in at the port. It doesn’t matter how it looks as you will rarely if ever see it. It isn’t something that will be displayed on your drivers license, passport, or sea pass card. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅
