  1. Definitely agree. 😎 Love my early morning Latte runs. Which is pretty much all I use the lounge for...though have popped in there in the afternoon to collect a double shot espresso to bring to a favorite bartender around the ship to ask him/her to make me an espresso martini. Many of the bars don't have coffee machines with them. 🙂
  2. We loved the aft lounge on deck six (Some Enchanted Evening Lounge). Way in the back by the floor to ceiling windows, lots of comfy chairs....great mesmerizing view of the wake. 🙂
  3. Does not apply to me. We have not used the lounges (DL/CL/SL) since the voucher program came out. We prefer our happy hour in other venues, sitting at one of the bars. Too much politics, chair saving, "evil eye looks", and especially too loud in those. Sooo...you are welcome to the two seats we don't occupy. 🙂
  4. Star class is still a suite. 😉 Pinnacles got to that status with having more points than a D+, thus more cruising than a D+. If they are both always sailing in suites? "Little Johnny in the front row....could you please answer that math question for me?" 😄 BTW: A Pinnacle is still a Pinnacle...with 700 points or 7000 points.
  5. There are other cruise lines out there. Perhaps they would be a better fit for you?
  6. Same here. Exception: We "one leggers" are relegated to regular balconies on WC. 😞
  7. Agree...this is really not the thread you should post this on. Especially being such a long post. Perhaps you could have started a new one with the more relevant topic?
  8. That is why I bring my "skinny/cheap" hangers from Wally World. They take up less room.
  9. With hand wash, "Boil and Fry", and dry cleaning as needed.....lets me pack light. Fellow pax will just have to get used to me wearing the same clothes. 😄 Now...don't let us talk about my piles of color coordinated flip flops. 😛
  10. And the pants. Plus I keep my pop up hamper for dirty clothes on the floor.
  11. Thank you so much for pointing out that Pinnacles are just people, like everyone else. We just have an unusual addiction to cruising, which just happened to make that milestone. 😉 😄
  12. Pre Covid, most Upper Tier always had those nice Bloody Marys....no longer. 😞 So we stop at a bar for one using our vouchers, then proceed into the event. Have been stopped several times by other pax (some a little too pushy and demanding) "Where did you get those"? 😉
  13. Wonder does a much better job with MTD than Serenade, but it may be that Serenade has very limited specialty restaurants...so there are more than usual of the percentage of pax in the dining room. There are so many dining venues on Wonder, pax get spread out pretty well, plus the dining room on that ship is huge. We ate almost every meal in CK.
  14. It did? Guess I never paid attention to it. We get comped 3 bottles of wine delivered to the cabin and two bottles of beer. Plus we are allowed (as is everyone) to take on two bottles of wine. Add to that 6 drink vouchers per person per day....burgle....drink all that up....time to dry out again when I get back. 😄
  15. Yes, enjoyed our B2B on the little Serenade. Love the Radiance class. 🙂 She is indeed in need of scheduled dry dock...which they will do before the World Cruise...but we still enjoyed. She could use a face lift and some updating. Traditional first was 5:30, but deck 5 was 5:15 (though only listed on the entry sign, not the app or the cruise compass.). Deck 5 has very limited two tops...mostly larger tables for larger families. But we did manage to get one of the two tops on the second leg. Most of the smaller tables are on deck 4, and very...very close together.
  16. Just disembarked Serenade on Saturday. Sooo happy we have changed our usual MTD from the past years to traditional first going forward. The new system fleet wide is awful (IMHO). Now MTD does not start until 6:45-7 pm. Why? Because it is now a "fill in" as the first traditional diners finish up their meals and leave. This is the same on Serenade. Deck 4 is first dining and MTD only (no late traditional). The line starts to form at the door...even early at 6 pm.... and then continues out the hallway and out past the elevators at times. The longest line was....the line WITH reservations. Getting seated is now dependent on how fast the first diners finish up right away...or linger over dessert and coffee/drinks. Deck 5 is Early and Late traditional dining...no MTD. Was so happy to be moved for our 2nd leg from early traditional on deck 4...to deck 5. Far less noisy and packed up like sardines. IMHO...the MTD system is a fail.
  17. I go through 3-4 bottles of water or more per day, just by myself. Most of my cruise adventures are B2B at a minimum...thus having a case of water sent to my cabin on the first leg...sounds ideal. Will find out. Will be especially useful for the "fly to" ports. Can still bring on a few, and have 4 C&A freebies delivered each week. Plus I also take a refillable water bottle to have on hand in the cabin. I don't, and never have enjoyed soda...neither does Bucky. Now...fermented grape juice...that is the other drink of choice. 😄
  18. Agree...no doorbells would be nice. They are annoying at best...but I guess RCI thought the idea would be "cute". 😉 Love the idea of an optional switch to disable them. Talk to the parents about their uncontrolled, unsupervised precious snowflakes? Yeah...good luck with that. 😄
  19. Getting tired of "Schlepping" 12 bottles of water in my carry on bag...started ordering the case of water from the beverage section of plan my cruise, supposed to be delivered to cabin. Will see how that works on our next cruise. 🙂
  20. We had the same thing on Harmony in an OS couple of months ago. Feral children running amok all night long, giggling, laughing, and running hard down the hallways... they rang the doorbell all hours of the night. We had it disconnected. Finally able to sleep at night. Enjoying your review and pictures. We are on Voyager (first time for us on that ship) for B2B2B starting 1/29. 🙂
  21. I hope they replace that shattered aft window in the Safari Lounge also. 😮 Yes, we had a good B2B as well. Always enjoy the Radiance sisters...all four of them. Our favorite class of ships. Carpet in Chops was pretty nasty...assuming that will definitely get replaced. My couch in our cabin looked like a garage sale reject...don't think the Goodwill would have wanted it either. 😉
  22. Nice! Love the collapsible tubs...of all kinds! 🙂
