  1. Allure is rumored to be going for drydoxk in 2024.
  2. Ask on board. There are usually crew shuttles that they will let you board.
  3. As long as they give you tje same category you will get nothing or $50 as a goodwill gesture.
  4. The reason is because of the itineraries involved and the distances between ports. On certain itineraries the ships must run all engines and go to max speed to reach the port. While both ships can reach the same speed they produce emissions that are controlled by scrubbers. The Voyager has updated scrubbers installed so that she can run all 6 engines and make top speed and meet the emissions requirements while the Adventure does not yet have the updated scrubbers installed so she cannot run at full speed and meet the emissions requirements.
  5. I will bet you were looking at the total price including taxes and fees. Only the cruise fare will ever be adjusted, the port fees and taxes stay the same. Your cruise fare could easily gone up while the taxes went down resulting in what appeared to be a lower price.
  6. When something like that happens send a tweet or FB message to Royal...amazing how quickly these things get corrected in many cases.
  7. That'd weird. I've had no problems doing that. I'll pay for beer during the day on sea dsys and save the vouchers until evening. That whole "depends on who you ask" or "what ship/hotel director" strikes again.
  8. You are seeing 7;30 because thr earlier slots(and they aren't that much earlier) have been booked. Unfortunately the option for MTD and getting a reservation before 6:30 / 7:00 no longer exists.
  9. Unfortunately there are not. There has been such a high demand for eatly seating that they are using all 3 dining rooms for early seating and then as these diners on deck 3 leave that dining room changes to MTD and the other 2 dining rooms are for late seating. This means that MTD starts at 6;30 at the earliest and in some cases people end up being closer to 7:00 before they can get seated for MTD.
  10. Each person is awarded their own points regardless of who pays.
  11. I would go to playmakers at lunch as opposed to dinner. I also usually schedule Chops for the second formal night and get a couple lobster tails to go along with my steak. Playmakers is open every day and you can use it even on port days as long as it's open. On port days it may not open until 2. We tend to do that and then a later dinner.
  12. If the price drops you can cancel and rebook. Or if it never goes gown and you find it too much you can still cancel.
  13. Potential motion and sea sickness is the reason many don't book these. Most stable place on a ship is low and center. These are complete opposite on both counts.
  14. The 5 person regular balcony rooms on Oadis and Allure are great for families with 2 kids. Really wish that they had kept that option on other ships but Pullmans in balcony cabins have been eliminated with the new cabin design
  15. That is definitely not on Allure. You can tell by the cabinetry that it is from either a Quantum class ship or Symphony or Harmony
  16. I wish we had more time to spend there and Stockholm has been added to my list of cities to get back to and for more than a port stop.
  17. Any bookings that were in a group are most likely not completed yet. Any group bookings need to be moved manually while regular FIT bookings are all done automatically. In nearly every move like this any group bookings have taken a week or two beyond the date listed in the letter.
  18. You cannot do this. The D and above discount only is applicable to on board pricing
  19. I have had this happen several.times for clients. While technically any room that holds 4 should be able to hold 3 and therefore you should be able to cancel the 4th off the reservation without a reprice and get the fare reduced by the fare for the 4th guest what occasionally happens is that Royal restricts occupancy to only 4 guests. They will not allow you to book 3 guests in a certain category because they want to increase capacity. When this happens you cannot cancel the 4th guest or you will in most cases be moved to a triple occupancy cabin. You can have the 4th be a no show and get taxes and fees back, you can also wait and hope that as it gets closer to sailing that Royal reduces the occupancy requirements so that you can cancel the 4th guest and get the full fare of that 4th guest removed. After final you can even do this up to the start of the 100% penalty phase as there are different rules for cancelling 3rd and 4th guests
  20. @Sea Dognot the same but here is a picture of one of the ropes from the Vasa that sank in the early 1600's and they found her, well preserved and now have her on display
