Worse case you book it and it goes cheaper cxl and rebook under the new price. Done this many time with excursions and refund is. back with OBC within minutes and cc refund Is usually 3-4 business days from my experience

I have stayed a few times at the Rennaissance which is right across the street from the port. Close to lots of restaurants, and easy to walk to Total Wine if want to pick up a bottle or two of wine to take on board.

You can get martinis at any bar, the Martini bar tho specializes in the specialty ones. But basic martini is available all over.

The veuve cliquot is not run as often anymore when talking to the cellar master pn the silhouette past november. He is hoping they bring it back in time but it is we shall see. That was always my favorite dinner overall.

Celebrity ships are great corporate not so muvh. After my TA in april probably will bot be sailing on celebrity for at least 2 years or longer. Have decided to go smaller ships azamara, oceana, and river cruises plus many if the trips have land based travel associated we are doing.

Not much different background in I have run many projects, small to large, ie taking over 300 room hotel, but I gave up worrying about everything on vacations and learned it is not needed besides the main details. Tickets, air hotel etc All what am I going to drink on day one and eat is not important enough to worry about. Always plenty of choices and if I don't like it I get something else. Not going to focus on one small event on a week plus vacation beforehand and contemplate should I or shouldn't I. I fully relax and tune it all out, ie will not project manage my vacation and life. And since I been doing that, I have had the greatest vacations. All different I get it.

Coke is the soda used on board, you can carry soda on board, not sure of the amount but people have said a case can be. No self-serve guest laundry, bag it and fill out form with the items and let room steward know and they will pick it up, the cost is pretty expensive and they do not do special items, ie everything washed in hot/hot water and folded and brought back in 2 or so days. Usually pre cruise on cruise planner there are specials for a purchasing a bag of laundry. Door decorations are allowed, not super prevalent on Celebrity but some people do decorate their doors.

Most likely they will. Are there sometimes things get thru yep but almost all the time it is taken away and given back at end of cruise.

Aqua class are set up for 2 people only. The sofas do not convert to a bed. Option would be to split the bed in the room 2 twins.

With aqua vs an ocean view room, you will have a balcony now and bigger room. Blu is your dinner restaurant, dont worry about your reservations in MDR, they will fall off eventually and yes no reservations for Blu are needed. The Persian gardens dont need to know anything, just go to the spa desk and they will set you up with a robe, if needed, and locker etc. Definitely use blu for breakfast, as its less crazy hectic then both the MDR and OVC.

The calls back are just information gathering, they are not going to say, ohh we need to change that. The more people call or email the more data they can collect on the unhappiness of the guests. I had to do this on a much smaller scale when working in the hospitality industry on comment cards. Would not expect much in the foreseeable future would be my guess. As some point out, ships are sailing full, and guests are spending. Until they start seeing a decline in those areas they will keep tweaking to get to the max revenue per sailing that they can get to. I will see how it goes in April on my TA on the Silhouette. Tho I already know that is my last cruise with Celebrity for a couple years as have moved to River Cruises and Azamara, along with a few land based trips and All Inclusive for my next ones thru end of 2025. The changes in Premium drink will interest me more when I sail. Like has been discussed a few times on threads the pricing is very strange overall on how its being done. Some marked up a lot, some not at all so its interesting overall to look.
