  1. I have one booked. TA in april. More my choice than what celebrity is doing. Tho corporate still has a complete disconnect with shipboard overall I want to go to smaller, ships as i am finding the more mainstream lines to big now. Switching to a few different azamara and river cruises over the next cpl years. The ta i also have added a 10 day stay in rome after the cruise and the river cruises flying in probably a week earlier to explore. Looking for more unique voyages overall. Caribbean done with at this point. I can still get really good prices on celebrity thru group bookings which keep me in my price point i set for mainstream lines tho its on higher end now, i have not adjusted my pp pd i look for since 2015. I stick with max 250 which also includes any air and hotel stays needed. Still able to get my conceirge and or aqua as have priced out a cpl with the newer itinearies. Not interested in suites as the benefits are not important to me at this point. Room is to sleep and store clothes at this point in my travels but do need a balcony/infinite verandah for that 10 min a day to escape people.
  2. Will not be able to get it at world class bar on ships that have that bar. S class and beyond and accent have it i believe.
  3. Unfortuneatly this can happen anyplace anytime. Wish it wouldnt. I just hope child is safe and families can heal
  4. I had the same thing on my silhouette cruises last week. The aq suite was for max bid like 750pp. The aqua room was starting at 900pp. When looking only one aq suite was available and didnt want to move as had same room on my b2b
  5. Badic common sense on things you lrave out or alone is best idea. Of course badic common sense is needed. Like others never a problem in my 20 cruises but i do not leave my phone/kindle etc unattended. Ill leave a bag eith suntan lotion and towels etc unattended
  6. Yes completely trust any Social Media type of site as they are always the best words of advice
  7. I really like seeing the Penner Ash in the Elevated area. I would easily pay the 21 a glass for that, if I read that right. I have premium for my TA in April and would do that all day for that wine. Paying 4.80 extra a glass would be an ideal, The Kendall Jackson Pinot is okay but the Penner Ash is another level
  8. My ta advises and my experience from working in the travel industry, is to never book with a 3rd party vendor Yes much more convient most of time but when situations like this happens its a nightmare. Since like mentioned not sure who has ckntrol of the ricket now. Hopefully it gets worked out but does take lots of patience and time from the one time i did it, to good of a deal to pas up but took me many hours to sort out air after changes were made and all flights not available thru the 3rd party vendor. Good luck with getting it sorted out.
  9. I just got off a b2b on the sil on Monday. Plenty of choices in mdr, looks like they reeverted back to what they had taken off the menus. Food was very good to outstanding in mdr. Tbh my least favorite meal was murano overall. Was good but not great like it has been in past. Thought mdr was just as good or better overall.
  10. With premium you also get access to sparkling waters, Perrier San pelligrino, spa cafe drinks and better selection of wines beers.
  11. Personally I enjoy the Persian. Agree s class is much better than the m class. But I enjoy it for after day on beach or pool going and sitting in sauna getting all the suntan lotion off plus great in mornings if it was a late night. I usually buy pass if not in aq room. On silhouette now and have used it twice a day so far with no problems getting lounger.
  12. Seems to have changed. My guess is to give shipboard more time to get set up on the turnover. Could be taking more time to clear ships etc. we can speculate many different things but not to worried about.
  13. On the cruise also. No complaints besides inconsistencies on where different wines can be found, but a talk with f&b director yesterday evening hopefully will rectify it. Food has been excellent. Ate Tuscan first night and and was delicious. Last night mdr. My friend is vegetarian and we got the separate vegetarian menu and food was great. I did regular menu and enjoyed seafood orzo. Have had no issues with portion sizes. Called out 2 ppl in ovc who were using hands to grab food, guessing the tongs/utensils that were n front of food trays are to complicated for them to use I enjoy embarrassing them for being so thoughtless. Lot of motion on ship at this point , But feels less than yesterday. Doesn’t bother me but it’s noticeable.
  14. Headphones are a wonderful thing. With movie can never tell.
  15. You are correct. You would get drinks in the retreat lounge. If you had a drink pkg it would carry over to the move up and able to get those drinks in other lounges Ie classic pkg. but retreat lounge you have access to whatever is in there
  16. Strange but it’s celebrity it. Check other sailings.
  17. But the people will still blame celebrity for not predicting what Mother Nature is doing.
  18. The best is to go to WCB the first day, and see how many people get upset when they can't get a basic drink, ie gin and tonic. I had 18 on one cruise the first night when sitting at the bar watching the show, who asked, got upset when told to go to a different bar for their drink. Kind of amusing. The bartenders are very nice about telling them, but the few people who decide to argue is funny.
  19. Find a sommelier. Bartenders don't have those lists usually. BTW they are usually the ones in black pants maroon jacket, if your ship has a cellar masters that would be best place.
  20. Like posted they are just different experiences. Constellation is one of my favorite ships overall. But the flow of the S class ships is wonderful. If you’re looking into having more options say for speciality then s class does offer more but not much the only one I really enjoy is the lawn club grille. That is only on the Reflection and silhouette I enjoy Tuscan which is on the constellation. The layout of the ovc I prefer on S class also as it is an open concept instead of row style on c class. I get amused by when people say ohh the ship is old etc when talking about c class ships. Yes they are older but very well maintained and I would travel 🧳 n any of them if the itinerary was right. With that I am on the silhouette next week for 14 days b2b sailings. I look forward to it as I only plan on one more celebrity after this one, TA next year than off to trying smaller lines. Azamara oceana, ama river cruises all booked
  21. Definitely like the balcony and those obstructions are not bothersome at all.
  22. It definitely is not a lap pool. Like others said unless you get there very early or 6pmish no chance on doing laps.
  23. They started having that sale about a week or so ago. Looks like for cruises 2024 my cruise coming up next week still has the wonderful 18.99 for upgrade. I still did it as I drink a ton of sparkling water and fresh juices from spa cafe
  24. Basic marketing 101. Everyone does it. There are many who just see the words Black Friday sale etc. Resorts etc all run same thing. I don’t even look at prices on celebrity site anymore. Just look for any itineraries of interest in time frames I know I can have off. Usually late spring and mid nov time is my quiet time. From there talk to my TA and get much better pricing probably like 30-40% lower than celebrity site with group pricing. Well my last 6 cruises have been anyways.
