  1. I feel your pain, but there is no way that they would do what you suggest. Booking inaugural sailings is always risky as delays are fairly common. Enjoy your FCC and OBC and rebook a later date. 😎
  2. Same thing happened to us with the Mardi Gras. Did they offer you any FCC? They gave us 25%. 😎
  3. Got it on my list. We'll be there twice next year! 😁
  4. Of course, I would top it off with the Key Lime Pie, but you don't do dessert. Alchemy can make you a liquid version.
  5. All excellent choices. Now if you order the crab cakes you'll have duplicated exactly what I ordered my first time there!
  6. That's really a shame. last April during our B2B we ate there three times and loved it. Don't think we'll eat there three times on the Celebration.
  7. How are you guys doing? What do you have planned for next year?
  8. Okay gang! We got our new cabin assignments for our B2B cruises 9/8 & 9/16 yesterday as well. As I mentioned earlier in this thread, I was going to cancel these bookings anyway, as we have booked the 15 day journeys cruise leaving on 9/29. Nearly two years ago we booked the same bowling alley balcony (6499) for both legs of our B2B. On the Venezia, 6499 is the exact same cabin, in the same exact location as we had on the Magic, but on the Venezia it is considered a premium balcony cabin. Which brings me to my first complaint. Before booting us out of our cabin, how about a call giving us the option to pay the difference and keep the cabin. Nope, probably never gave it a thought. Now, here is what they gave us. For the first cruise they gave us a regular balcony (6485) and it is a connecting cabin, something we never, ever book. I guess you can surmise that of course they didn't give us the same cabin for the second leg, even though the cruises were linked as B2B. They moved us from the back of the ship all the way up to the front of the ship into a regular balcony cabin (6243), which was also a connecting cabin. I guess most of the balcony cabins were pretty much gone if all that was left were connecting cabins. Called my PVP this morning, and he was easily able to get both of my non - refundable deposits transferred to my new booking which really is all that I wanted at this point. He then officially cancelled the two bookings. He told me that at this point, he wouldn't have been able to book me in the same cabin for both legs anyway, and that's because they opened bookings up before everyone was reassigned. Carnival really screwed the pooch on this ship switch. So for us it all ends well, but what if we were locked into those two dates like many people are. I would have been livid, and can't blame people for their frustration. I Hope it works out for all involved.
  9. No problem. I can hit the "like" button twice! 😁
  10. For us it would be Rudi's. 😎
  11. Well done once again Greg! Enjoy your day in the Miami area, and safe travels this evening. 😎
  12. Looking forward to your review. We are doing a B2B on her in April. 😎
  13. Hey guys! Glad to see you cruising again. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. 😎
  14. Sounds like they may have had a Coast Guard inspection.
  15. You should have also gotten leather luggage tag holder and passport book.
  16. Enjoy your cruise on the Panorama. Great ship! Be sure to say hi to Megan!
  17. The double doors to the left is where you'll be heading.
