Would you like to do a europe cc group 6-2012

I'm looking for a Europe cruise for 2012, would love to cruise with Carnival as that's the line I'm most comfortable with.

 

Actually had been looking for a transatlantic, or possibly british isles or baltic cruise. Not so hot on Mediterranean but I'd consider it. It would just mean making my way to London for a bit after the cruise & before flying home.

You never know Gary!!!! The price for Europe cruises is way down I know the air can be a bit pricey, but you can always use an air consolidater and get a good rate. :eek:

I plan on this Cruise and am very excited about it. Looks like it is a little less to fly into Barcelona the best I can tell.

 

This will be a once in a live time for me and my hubby and our boys ( 20 and 30 at cruise time), after

this one my adult sons are on their own for vacations!!!!:D!

If we do the same plan and ports as Magic is doing this summer , that will be GREAT!!!!!

 

Does anyone know any thing about the Spain port ??? I wounder why Carnival does that depat.port and no Rome for its new ships? :confused:

 

 

Barcelona is a great city. Many cruise lines are using it as original embarcation and ending disembarcation ports. The port is convenient to the city (unlike Civitavecchia, which is an hour and a half away from Rome) and it's a great city as well. Also, it is generally cheaper to fly to Barcelona from the US than it is to Rome. The port might be easier for cruise lines as well. What I like about the Magic's itinerary is that Carnival is giving an extended day in Rome from 7 am to 10 pm.

 

Good luck to all of you. There is nothing like a Med cruise and it's great that Carnival makes it affordable for everyone, including families. Can't wait to get on the Magic in Barcelona in 200 days.

OH you are so luckly. I wish I was going in 200 days, please tell us what tours you are doing, are you useing your own guild? I love the Magic Med itinerary, I think the new Breeze will do this itineray in 2012. If it is the Magic again I will be just as happy!!!

I am really excited about this and hope it will pan out to be a CC group cruise. If for some reason it does not become a CC grope cruise the thread will move to roll call and we can then do some Cruise planning.

 

I do think it will be a CC group since I have been a group leader in the pass, it depends on if Carnival wants to do groups on a Europe cruise, I don't know why they wouldn't.

LOL Me, My cuz, Aunt and Uncle are scheduled to do the Western Car on the Valor in March. Can't wait. Providing this all goes well and the price is right we just might be interested in the 2012 Cruise. We were throwing around a international trip for Vaca next year.

If you would like to look at the ports visited , see the Carnival Magic for June or July 7 night and it will give you an idea.

 

Pricing for this summer is not bad at all and if we can get a CC group that would be great, it is almost always a couple 100.00 less.:eek: And somtimes you get perks like OB credit... I can't wait.. :eek:

 

Now to look at air, I know there are some good consolidates for international flights you just have to sruf the internet, I think Cruise Critic has some boards on that. Let me check them out ...:cool:

I live just east of Tampa Hard Rock Casino and Cafe :) The Seffner, Valrico Area and the Relatives live in the Plant City area. I vaguely know where South Tampa is, I tend to avoid Tampa like the plague...I hate that traffic there. :(

Looking at the ports that the Magic visits it looks like only one sailing included Venice and it was the May sailing , does anyone have an idea why?:confused:

Got the email this morning about the cruise-thanks. I may be interested. I have done Europe a few times (on Princess) and I am more than ready to go back. Depends on price, how many days and the itinerary.

 

So keep me posted. This was a great group back on the Liberty. The only downfall to that cruise was all the kids running down the halls all night. :(

 

I really liked the poker run that was fun!! The speciality dining was one of the best ever. We just did RCL for New Years and it was not good.
